   do you think jesus was totally misunderstood by christians and wrongly elevated to position of god, while jesus was mere man who asked for help from god when he was on cross?

      Christian totally misunderstand God and Christ...If you understand one then you understand both, for they are actually one.
      
      Their misunderstanding stems from the fact that they think God can be known by reading a book... and even the book condemns this.
      
      Jesus called on his Father at the time of his so as to accomplish his death.
      
      But the death of the Christ is not death as most presume it to be...For the Christ cannot die...
      
      It is merely a case when The Christ descended into chaos/death and still preserved his Identity to the extent so as to return from it.
      
      This become possible when a person has become whole /one, then death has no effect on Him...so that he may go into death at anytime of his choosing and be absolutely sure of his return from it...

   His declaration on the cross was a demonstration of his outstanding integrity which we can all learn from.  If the cup cannot be passed then God's will be done.  That's his message.  He left it in the hands of the Eternal Father.  If Christ's death was necessary for the salvation of man than so be it.

      well i dont think from that point of view...jesus died because he believed in something which might be false too..never the less he died with conviction...

         At least we agree that he died with conviction.  This is good!
         
         Given who he was, and knowing full well who he was as the Son of God, I believe that he discharged his ministry and life with full trust in the gospel he preached and the acceptance by God of his intercession.

            ya he died with conviction and many even today die with conviction for sake of their beliefs...it is more to do with human nature than to do with who the dying person is..i like jesus as man but other than that , i disagree with what people attribute jesus to..

         He offered a violent response to the commercialization of religion. Pretty impressive to me. You certainly couldn't do that in today's world; but it would be a breath of fresh air to see someone find a nonviolent way to make a similar point. Although it would, I'm sure, have a vey short term effect; as it did back then.

   Understandable.  I don't believe that original sin exists from His sacrifice to now but many don't understand my I believe such.
   
   It's a matter of personal interpretation based on the information we each have about Jesus Christ.
