The India Pakistan match in not tomorrow rather on 30th March. I believe it will be India who would be crowned world champions.

Pakistan and New Zeland [one of my favorite teams of course because of their decency]have less chance than India and Sri Lanka. I suspect, it is going to be a India-Srilanka final. I wanted India or Australia to take the crown but with Australia out of the contest I am an Indian supporter now. I also don't mind Sri-Lanka to win the championship. And of course, I never ever want an English or Pakistani flag to be up-righted as we had to be killed, oppressed, raped, burned.........for a grand total of 225 years under these two flags. We even had to shed blood for our mother tongue but we never were honored to accept their apology.

      Today is our independence day.

I understand Saleheens that people of your country had been through a lot especially during the 1971 war and even before that. Good to see that your nation is coming up in cricket and also in other fields.

Our performance in this world cup was shameful but surely we are improving. I love to think this was just an accident for us.

Bangladesh performance was good but in patches. I would be really surprised if you guys don't reach semi finals in 2015 world cup. I would like to see two players make a comeback Alok Kapali and Mashrafe Mortaza. I am a great fan of these two players.

And I would like to see Alok Kapali, Mashrafee, Aftab Ahmed, Ashraful, Shahreer Nafees regularly in the best 11.

@saleheensblog...well that time political views were different ...everyone support themselves ...but truly we should see the capability of best teams throughout tournament that which team is putting much effort than others.....this is not about  pakistan or british rulers this is about cricket...

It is about representatives from nations playing for national pride. 11 players will not win the world cur rather a nation will win it. Whatever I don't want a argument here. I only hope someday Pakistan will officially say sorry to Bangladesh. Our land is still red and wet with the blood of 30,00,000 martyrs and our air is still heavy with the scream of 2,00,000 raped women. No political situation can allow an occupation force to rape 2,00,000 women, to deter the greater community from speaking in their own tongue, to kill almost all the poets, intellectuals, artists, singers.......just before the day before victory day. And don't forget 90,000 Pakistani soldiers were freed without any trial. In exchange can't we expect an official apology from Pakistan???? Can't we???

I have same thought on this occasion....and it is clear that Pakistan will easily handle sri lanka as they knew sri lanka game strategy .

If Pakistan can beat India they will win the world cup but I don't think Pakistan can beat India. They have been defeated against India in every occasion the two teams have met in a world cup. Again in Indian condition it will be harder than ever for Pakistan to defeat India although throughout the tournament Pakistan seemed to be the most compact and balanced team.

disagree...they have been bowling well...there batting has been ordinary....most balance was south africa who lost their mental balance yesterday tongue

lol Actually you are right. Indeed Sri Lanka seemed to be the most balanced team to me. Australia had lack of spinners and specialist batsmen who can really play well against spinners, England have the same problem, Pakistan has huge lacking in their batting, India has one of the weakest balling attacks, New Zeland neither have a great balling nor a great batting attack but they are still an above average team who can beat anyone in their day, South African batting wasn't best suited for the subcontinental condition, on the other hand Sri Lanka have everything one needs to win the title.

ya but srilanka has one big weakness..if their top 3 dont fire..they are gone..India bats deep which is plus...being Indian i want India to win but If Pakistan beats India , their bowling would be too good for srilankans to handle...

Pakistan have not been outstanding but yes their performance has been better than expected when they came to play the tournament .. They can be said as outstanding in the way they mentally prepared themselves but performance of no team in the tournament has been outstanding...yes all teams have had their share of outstanding days but not entire tournament..

the match between India and Pakistan would surely be thrilling and who ever wins the match would win the world cup according to me...
