It seems Google is chasing money making sites by banning their adsense account. So I have decided to ban myself from Google adsense before they do it on me smile

    What do you think ?

I will only do it on my makemoneyonline account not for the others.

If your hub is not talking only about money it should be less risky.

Can you expand on this a bit more?

Yes, please share more. Where did you find this info? (share any links ... or maybe you can create a hub about it) Are they doing this by keyword/how are they figuring in the sites?

Google have long had a dim view of MFA (Made For Adsense) sites.

I did see a discussion recently about Adwords campaigns and visitors landing on pages with affiliate links on it. If I find it again I'll post a link to it. Or paste the relevant information.

Yikes!  No more money talk for me.  I don't even like it, anyways.

Love what it buys, though,  And bills it pays and well....getting to eat and drink?

Here I go to write a poem about not money!  Betty Jo

I know they look for irrelevant keywords, meant only to lure traffic to adsense sites.  If you have a legitimately educational hub, I don't think they're going to close your account for it.  Just keep track of your account stats, because a friend just had her account closed because someone clicked several hundred times in one day.  If she had checked her stats daily, and seen and reported it, she wouldn't have had her account closed.

I would not worry about your account here on hubpages because if that were true we all would have lost our accounts long before now.

There are sites out there similar to a traffic exchange that visitors click on your ads to get credits. It is these types of sites Google is finding and punishing. MFA sites with content and half decent are fine but single pages of ads are not.

Google are good at what they do and as an advertiser we should be good at what we do. We follow the rules, the terms of service and provide real content value adding sites.

I got out of Adwords because they were just draining my bank account.....YIKES, I cancelled by account on adwords over a month ago and  they just sent me a notice that they were taking a payment out of my account.....I DONT THINK SO. I may have to cancel  my checking account and starat  anew one if this keeps up. I have never recieved any payments from anything so i sure  am not going to pay out anything.

It'll be interesting to see if this is true. It would ruin the whole internet marking industry overnight. You can see why they have to be careful - they have Adwords advertisers to think about after all, but Adsense has become an industry of its own!

No..  it's not a blanket policy like that.  You are right that they are disabling accounts that serve websites with little content or content that is there for one purpose - to make money with Adsense..  arbitrage/MFA type sites.

..it's any site like this - it could be a page about dog biscuits.  It's more about quality, length and purpose of content.   What the pages focus is..  content or getting people to click on your ads.

I read this post a couple days ago. Last night in the middle of the night this came to me.
You're probably thinking why would you think about my post in the middle of the night?
hahahahhaaa...... well actually I was thinking about adsense because I just submitted a site to get accepted for adsense code because the first time I was refused.
    I'll tell you why.
I signed up for a "make money from home...30 days and you'll be making money guaranteed yadda yadda ...you know the scoop. We'll give you your own site..... It had me set up with a hosting account to get my duplicated site all I had to do was fill in the blanks.....well they asked for my adsense code.
I didn't have one so I had to apply. I gave google the link to the site they set up for me. It was my first site I'm not the tech type so I thought good they'll do the hard part  ...... welll....
    The site was refused.
Thank you for your interest in Google AdSense. Unfortunately, after reviewing your application, we're unable to accept you into Google AdSense at this time.
We did not approve your application for the reasons listed below.Issues:
    - Page type
    ---------------------
    Further detail:
Page type: Your website is a type of website that we do not currently accept into our program. Such websites include, but are not limited to, chat sites, sites that drive traffic through cybersquatting, and sites that use excessive keywords in the content or code of their pages.

If I had have had my adsense code already would I have put it on their site not even knowing I was in violation?
I was Bummed out!!!! Not to mention PO I canceled my account and got my money back....
Well the front of the websites were those make money from home with data entry...type from home make money...But I didn't know that until After they had everything "set up for me" They weren't like the ones that were pitched to me thats for sure! don't know why but the name Justin Blake...your affiliate site or something like that  .is ringing a bell
Since then Clickbank marketplace has removed all products associated with type from home, data entry...I'm sure you've seen them.....
I thinking these are the kinds of sites that are getting their adsense codes taken away. The make money sites like these. Maybe that will help ease your mind.
I learned my lesson..and have since heard many good things about google. They are for the people really they are!
You could always ask google. I mean send them an e-mail and be straight with them. I'm sure they would let you know.
So hopefully I won't wake up thinking about you...heck I don't even know you yet....hahahahaha....nice to meet you I'm .Jill smile
