    Hi all !!

How does your physical fitness level determine that how well you can manage stress...
Also want to know just not being overweight would be considered physically fit or not??

Just not being overweight is NOT considered physically fit.  You could fall into the "sedentary" category even if you are skinny.  Being fit requires activity and a lot of it.
Being fit will increase your ability to deal with stress in many ways.  While working out it calms you and also effects your mode the rest of the day.

The other commenter was right.  Being thin does not mean that you are physically fit.  Physically fit is when you visit the doctor and he asks you about your exercise and eating habits.  If you tell him that you have been walking and watching what you eat, he may consider you physically fit.  If you were to go to a gym to see a personal trainer, he may consider you unfit because of the amount of fat on your body whether you exercise or not.  Listen to your doctor.
Exercise relieves stress because it lossens up rigid muscles and release a certain euphoric chemical in your body that makes you feel good. A stressful person never felt good but stressed.  Also exercise actually gives you energy to perform your daily tasks without fatigue.

I agree with all that has been said so far, and would like to add that all body types can be fit.Difficulties arise when we are disabled or can't move body parts of course.

These questions are really vague and ambiguous at best.

If you cant manage stress you will defiantly loose your physical fitness.

I think that people that are more physical fit have more confidence in themselves. This added confidence helps them deal better in stressful situations. I may be all washed up on this but I feel more confident when I am in better shape.

In partial answer to the question: How does your physical fitness level determine that how well you can manage stress...?

Its worth noting that research linking stress and headache sufferers showed that when people were "stressed", they had an increased heart rate, then an increased pulse of blood volume to the head, increased electrical signals on the skin of neck muscles (implying increased neck muscle tension), then increased headache (Bannon et al, 2000; Bansevicius and Sjaastad 1998).

One measure of physical fitness is resting heart rate. Clearly a lower resting heart rate, and the ability to lower it, should affect the above signs, and that can interrupt the cycle of headaches, leading to more stress. Food for thought.
