"“a different form of leadership than I’ve ever seen.”". Maybe he doesn't know who Obama is leading.

I thought you said maybe he doesn't know who Obama is leading.

I said maybe Obama doesn't know who he is leading.

He keeps talking about "adult" conversations and "acting like adults" and he keeps demanding results.  Hell he even ordered some nebulous entity to plug the damn hole.

He "leads" like a lousy elementary school teacher.

"I thought you said maybe he doesn't know who Obama is leading." That's what I said. Being repetitious, Obama leads for the Council on Foreign Relations who lead for - what did I see today - the top one per-cent.

I was concerned, for obvious reasons, about Lady Love's passing - we need her voice of reason here. wink

Shall we take up a collection for a get-well card and some flowers. Nettles, perhaps.

"Has any modern political figure ever squandered political goodwill in the manner of Obama..." He did truly out-lie
all the great liars of all time, which is the reason the T partiers are partying government shutdown.

I read the editorial that AC had in the OP.

It was an unsubstantiated anti-Obama rant. The 2 main gripes in an unfocused moan and groan were Libya and Japan.

Obama was clear. We intervened in Libya to prevent civilian slaughter. We took out Quadafi's air capability and we aren't putting boots on the ground. The total cost of the operation so far is STILL less than the cost of one day in Afghanistan. The editorial did not advocate (in typical wingnut style) if he thought we SHOULD invade Libya or if he thought the slaughter of civilians is acceptable. The author has no discernable idea what HIS opinion is, he only hates what Obama did.

I did not see ONE example of where Japans requests for aid from the US have been unheeded. If the writer is dissatisfied how Obama has run the rescue and recovery in Japan... ahem.. Japan is not one of the 50 states. We have a moral obligation to assist in any way Japan asks, because they are a reliable friend to the US. If the writer is unhappy that Obama hasn't made a clear policy statement that he's opposed to natural disasters... well, that objection would be accurate.

Conservatives as damn good at griping and they have a talent for getting elected. Unfortunately, they have not the slightest clue how to govern. All of AnnCees links seem to reinforce that weakness.
