Ok, so I just downloaded FireFox, but it doesn't allow me to see YouTube videos on hubs. It keeps telling me to download some plug, but when I try, nothing happens.

    Is this normal?

      No, not normal at all.

Firefox has always worked with Youtube for me.

What sort of plug in does it say you require?

Yeah, no that's definitely not normal - well kind of. I was having the same problem at first with Firefox. It depends on your firewalls and also the pop-up blocker you may have installed. Usually if I click on a link I get something that comes up and says I need to allow the item (similar to IE). Your Firefox should be doing the same. If it isn't it's probably some kind of setting (that I have no idea how to fix).

Most likely you need to download one of the free programs like Java or something similar that allows you to watch videos - I wish I could remember which one it was that I've downloaded, but I can't. Everything you've downloaded to IE (media player, etc) needs to now also be downloaded to be used with Firefox.

        Hope this helps.

Come to think of it I think you need to download Flash Player again (when using the Firefox browser).

          http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download … kwaveFlash

See if that helps. If not, try most of these (again, using the Firefox browser) ...one will work smile

Yep, normal.  Doesn't seem that even the geeks over at the Mozilla forum had an answer.  I was forced to use IE to watch videos until a friend told me how to fix it.

I was gonna put the solution here, but it's so long, so I just put it in a hub

      Hope this helps.

    Adobe Flash Player.

When I say to install it, it comes back saying no plug-ins were installed and gives the option to manually install.

Currently, all I see is a white box. On other websites I see a slot where the video is supposed to be and a small link saying something about featured by YouTube, but the link is always there. The difference is no video or even slot for the video.

Thanks guys. I'll have to try those things out when I'm back on my computer.
