Ok, folks. How about some motivational tips and comments for those whose motivation has dropped dead.

My husband loves to say that one thing you can count on in life is that everything always changes. Maybe it will change for the good?

Actually, when something is left alone, it almost invariably gets worse. It’s called entropy. smile

He wants to be motivated again. I'm not saying do nothing, but to change his attitude.

"Maybe it will change for the good" :  Maybe...   but I've usually found that most change is "for bad".   lol     Ohh....   I'm kidding (sort of).    smile

Get out in the real world and talk to strangers. May come up with something, depending on how lucky you are.

No matter how bad it seems today it could always be worse tomorrow.

My motivation is all but gone. Down with the traffic....On the other hand I've gotten my closets cleared out, a crafting space set up and my house has never looked better! LOL

Stay true to yourself. Don't let anyone else steer you in the wrong direction, and never give up on your dreams.

I made a pact to get away from the keyboard and get to the gym. I've been sitting here piling on pounds, except in my fingers.

Good idea, maybe I will venture this year to ask my bosses for a one. Haven't had one for 2 years. Oh, Canada, a promising land...

I had that happen to me the other day, and ended up posting Ramblings of an Idiot. It helped me to get over being un-motivated, and was able to post a hub.
Sometimes if that doesn't work, I hit the clean humor section. Good luck, I hope it works out for you! smile

To be motivated you 1st have to find out what motivates you.
Some are motivated by money, love, greed etc.

I am motivated by helping others..... ;0)

That is a good place to start

    Do something nice for someone.

Don't ask for anything in return.  Don't even tell them, if you could get away with it.

Maybe they will do the same to someone else.  smile

Hmm.  I don't know...   I kinda got nuthin'....          (I thought this kind of applies, but also has a catchy tune, though - in view of recent events):

I would recommend a good night out. Eat some good food. get a little drunk. watch a gruesome Japanese samurai movie... Well that is what I did. I feel better already.

Let me take a second shot at "motivational" (and yet pretty realistic - and quite symbolic):

Amazing! I’ve just finished and published another hub. If you have just finished a hub, announce it here so as to inspire others if you wish. smile

Yep, and HP just unpublished the hub I just published. I wish they’d just dropped me a note instead. It was a 10 second fix to make it right.

Hopefully, google hadn’t yet discovered it, so there won’t be any broken link, permanent de-index issues.

Back to de-motivated mode. Hopefully breakfast will fix that. lol
