            If I'm stuck indoors, or can't see outside, it affects me.
            The blue sky, the green, the scents, sounds, even the feel of the air is calming or energizing. If I'm feeling particularly stressed, I head to the beach. Being near the water is peaceful.

               I am exactly the same way!!
               Always thought I liked the ocean ,because I was born alongside one,but Im sure its the calming and almost hypnotic effect of the water. Like you said, The smell ,the sounds, rolling in ,rolling out-Cleansing.
               
               Well I am far from the Pacific Ocean ,but I am inspired and excited to visit Lake Errie soon looks amazing too!

         Walking is an excellent idea! I just went to my granddaughters soccer game and cheered, laughed and clapped....watching little ones playing sports is so much fun!!

   Hormones are easily dealt with, chocolates, booze, a shopping trip - and working away from home until it is all over.  Leaving a teeenage son in the house usually diverts all the flack away from oneself during the sympathetic noise telephone calls.
