How do you celebrate your wedding anniversaries? Do you organize a party?

I think a party for a 30th anniversary is a good idea. I would try not to have it actually on your anniversary, maybe the weekend before or after, that day should be a day for just you and your husband.

Hi Thelma, have you got a place there where you have never been before, just the two of you, take a week off, perhaps to a secluded place and enjoy the moments. I think 30th anniv is pearl. Personally I don't fancy parties, except to share it perhaps with the family/relatives. Congratulations and many more years to come!

When and IF I have a 30th wedding anniversary in the future, which isn't likely, but IF it were to happen, then when that time comes, I'll let you know the plans I make. Until then, I have none. tongue

Thank you prettydarkhorse. I´m planning to celebrate it next year in my country with my father and relatives. So It´s just like reunion for the whole family. We were married in the Phil. so it´s great to celebrate it there. That will be 31st.

My 10 year is coming up.. Staying at the beach and a town car is coming to take us to the best restaurant in town. Then to walk the beach, then ultimately back home to some champaign on the balcony.

My (our) 25th anniversary is coming up in February 2012. We're getting remarried! I'm excited and it's going to be fun. Since we're already married so long, our self-written vows should be hilarious.

Good luck on  choosing how to celebrate! Thirty years is good reason to throw a celebration! Personally, I think my husband deserves an award for being with me for 25 years. smile

Hi SandyMcCollum. Thanks for your comment. Getting remarried is a good idea. That would be a great celebration for both of you. I wish you good luck for the coming 25th wedding anniversary;-)
