You get like what, a couple of cents per click?
what is the point. It sounds like you'd lose money overall if you were using adsense on your site or hub to begin with.

I think its a complete waste which not even a homeless person would bother using even if he could.

But people use it obviously, and it continues to exist. It makes your site and your hubs look like crap. I think Kontera is a sad joke.

You have a right to your own opinion. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I've personally done well with Kontera. I have it on my main HubPages account. On some days I make more with Kontera than the HubPages ad program when I had it on. I've since turned HP ads off.

Hubbers have always had the option to turn Kontera off, but HubPages has decided to cancel Kontera this June.

I'll keep Kontera on my own sites though. I usually make payout every two months. It will take a little longer now, that's all.

Kontera has been mostly (or completely) phased out as far as I know. Not many people on the site were using it, anyway.

I was getting some very minor income form it. But I removed it because I think it may interfere with Adsense's TOS. Adsense does not allow you to run other contextual ads on the same page as Adsense, and from what I can tell Kontera serves ads based on the content of your page. Since it might offend Adsense's TOS I removed Kontera just to be on the safe side.

Google Adsense is notorious for canceling user's accounts for minor reasons, no explanations, etc.

I wouldn't want to offend G.A. either. If you look at one of your google adverts in the wrong way with your own eyes, you could get banned for that.

I still don't see why Kontera is not a laughable joke since you get a couple of pennies per click. A homeless person would think that's a joke!

    Hi all

My name is David, I am a Community Manager at Kontera.

stuff4you if you would like to send me your URL or info at davids@kontera.com, I can look into your account and see what we can do to help you.

quotations, in regards to your question about Adsense TOS, it is totally acceptable by Adesense's TOS to use Kontera and Adsense on the same site. As long as the ads from a third party ad network such as Kontera, can't be confused for AdSense ads, and doesn’t interfere with Google ads, there’s no problem.

Here's the section where Google talks about using third party advertising platforms on a same site where you use AdSense: https://www.google.com/adsense/support/ … swer=32849

If any of you have questions please feel free to be in contact.

    Thanks

I never used Kontera, I myself find it very annoying when I'm reading something and skim over something and an ad pops up

I did not activate Kontera for the reason that it is being phased out soon. I don't know what it looks like but even if you only get a coouple pennies a day that is better than nothing.

Just my opinion but every penny counts in the long run.
