I have read that HP's earnings are far less than Google Adsense so Hubbers are deactivating HP. I must say that HP is the only thing working for me as of now. Google clicks so far this month-0. Amazon sales-1 HP? Daily clicks.
Although they are far from what they once were, I'll take HP any day. As for Google? Why Bother.
Anyone else feeling my pain?
I earn more on HubAds. It is case-by-case.
Your HP Ads may be affecting the otehr advertising platforms, have you tried testing without HP ads on to see if it creates any changes? (I would try with a simple month on/month off test to begin with)
Hey Paula, I tried and tested HP Ad program and it wasn't beneficial for me, so I turned them off.
I'm beginning to see an up in my Adsense earnings again, I always get a steady flow of clicks
I earn about the same, of course I have hit the HP threshold and am yet to get paid, so we will see. But My adsense has dropped substantially. So right now, HP pays better, but I think that is the way it is supposed to work. HP makes up for what you lose in Adsense earnings and in the end you should earn more in total. Only time will tell if it works out that way.
Since Panda struck, yes HP have made up for a lot. Not only that, but month by month the payments are getting higher.
Izzy, pleased to hear of your monthly improvement. Have you tweaked your hubs or the layout to give you the improvement you are seeing with hp ads?
No - just made the changes HP made us change about product links, rss feeds etc.
Traffic hasn't risen overall either, so there is no good reason I can see for an increase in HPads earnings.
Perhaps the very slight increase in yahoo and bing traffic is doing it?
Yesterday I had my first zero click day on adsense for a long time:(
Thanks, thought I might have been missing a trick. Interesting though you mentioned yahoo and Bing traffic. I had an increase in traffic from those sources just after the 2nd panda but it has now returned to normal. My gradual increase in traffic is now more from google.com which suits my Amazon based hubs.
Which is another reason I fear that I don't do that well the Hub ads programme.
I have not verified this yet, but it seems I have been making more with HP Ad Program than adsense. Adsense would give me record days, but sometimes it would be the complete opposite where I would barely make anything. (Even when I got a lot more traffic before Google Panda)
Honestly, if the HP ad program existed when I was receiving my original traffic before panda, I might have made 20-50% more. (Just an estimate though)

Okay, today I have noticed drastic decrease in page impressions and record low earnings in my adsense account. I had not thought before today that google algorithm change will have such a effect on our traffic and earnings. Today, I find myself what I was three years back. Only a few cents per...

Hi folks. I use the AdSense direct implementation, rather than the HP earnings program on HubPages. Over the last couple of days I have noticed that the number of clicks and my earnings have increased very dramatically (5 to 10 times).Having reviewed my account on AdSense and looking at the Google...

Now that I achieve about 12000 page views per day, I felt it a good idea to give Kontera a whirl to see how I got on. Afterall, I have heard that people can achieve $5+ per 10000 page views. It was a complete failure, although my primary concern was the effect on my AdSense income. I enabled Kontera...

I think it is related to images being used for the HUB ads and Google ads. When I turned off the Hub ads my adsense revenue rose significantly. I think it is because the block of adsense ads to the right of the column of text below the title returned to text based rather than image based. I think...

I don't go around looking for Hubs to flag, but when I come across something with glaring issues I try to be a good HP citizen and alert staff. They have, after all, continuously preached about the importance of qualityLast week I flagged two Hubs with major issues. The kinds of issues that make a...
