My Adsense application

A couple of days ago, I followed the Hub directions for qualifying for Adsense. The only thing I was asked on the application page was my name and email address, which I filled out. I clicked the "Submit" button and wasn't told if anyone had it or any further instrutions. I was just sent back to the application page.

A few minutes ago, I "Binged" Adsense and saw the real application which was far more involved that the Hub application. Now, I'm uncertain if I really did apply for Adsense.

I'm sorry that I don't know much about this process. Can someone with Adsense experience advise me as to whether I should go to the Adsense website to apply?

Can you point us to the hub whose directions you followed?

I went to "Affiliate Settings" then clickee "apply now." I filled out the info required, which was just name and email address and then was directed to "Submit ." I clicked the button and that was that. No further instructions or anything else to tell me if I'd been accepted or directions of what to do next.

I applied directly to Google Adsense, It isn't a huge long application, but more than an email address.  I was accepted with in a few hours. Then went to link through to HubPages Ad Program which is the same link, I think,  you used.  They said some of my information was wrong.  It wasn't, but now I can't go any farther.  I think this part of HubPages isn't working  correctly.

Thanks, Traveler. I think you're right that something isn't working on that application page. Now, since I know how you got screwed up, I don't know what to do. If I just sit on my hands waiting for HP to do something or tell me something, I'm losing income.

I have more blogs on another site that I don't like as well as I like HP but they are producing income.  If HP isn't going to tell me what to do next, I'll have to go back to writing for Fanbox, which I don't like.

Just do it again from adsense application page. I think when they ask you for your email address, their system should be able to use your email address and take you where you reached in your application.

I'm sure you will get it sorted out.  Not to belittle the situation in any way (really just trying to make you feel better) but you have three hubs and have only been active for six weeks.  It is doubtful that you are losing out on anything more than a couple pennies at most.  It isn't really Hubpages' responsibility to tell you what to do.  Who have you contacted from Hubpages?  Have you emailed them directly or are you just referring to asking questions here in the forums?

Have you followed the link that SunSeven supplied to you above in the first comment?

What you can do is apply directly through Google, when the application is approved you then link it to your Hubpages account.

      Good luck!
