My high was doing yoga this morning, my low was hearing my grandma discuss intimate details about her bladder and Vajayjay. TOTALLY TMI!

My high was having a horrendous, bathroom, "plumbing issue" that showed up yesterday all cleared up.  My low was discovering that the problem seems to have only temporarily cleared up, and it's now back.   mad  mad

(You know how they say, "Love is lovlier the second time around"?  Well, plumbing issues are fifty times less "lovely" the second time around - especially when "the second time around" is twelve hours after things looked cleared up from the first time around.    mad  mad  mad  )

Don't ya just hate it when that happens? It happened to me too (not yesterday, of course) but recently.

I now have a rocking chair toilet. Not a good concept. Brand new, special ordered, paid to have it installed, and bingo. Rocking chair. Slish slosh.

But on the bright side, today is another day, Scarlett. And I shall think about that tomorrow.

my high so far is, I woke up. I'm still waiting for something better to happen. (I'm sure it will) My low, started last night. Hubby let a friend drive his brand new motorcycle, and the buddy dumped it. Good news, buddy is sore but not seriously hurt. Bad news, checking the bike out in the light of morning....it doesn't look pretty.

My high was starting a new classroom position; when I saw that it was Friday the 13th, I laughed.

    I didn't have any lows.

Now your new "high" can be having discovered that Friday the 13th isn't always the nasty thing it's often believed to be.  smile

(My toilet problem, mentioned above, showed up on the 13th, went away on the 13th, and then was back early into the 14th.  I have a feeling this particular problem is not a matter of luck.   smile  )

My high was attending a very helpful breastfeeding class.

My low is that I'm still pregnant and can't practice.

My high finding a rescue group, Urban Cat Relief today that got me a deal to spay the feral mother cat I have been taking care of...She goes in tomorrow! Yes! The group is looking for foster homes for the 6 kittens she now has.

The low is not knowing about this wonderful group of people several years earlier...it could have prevented so much wear and tear on the poor mother cat! Finally she is going to be over the endless cycle of reproduction.

My high was knowing I am within months of Retirment and still having reasonable health to enjoy it.

My low was a briefing today, finding out the truth about Medicare and the real costs and hidden lies about it.  Not good at all

    smile

My high was having the plumber arrive and remove that piece of "wire stuff" that had apparently fallen into my toilet months ago. My other high was learning he wouldn't have to take out the toilet in order to fix the problem.  My low - of course - was finding out how much it cost to get that particular problem fixed.   hmm

Word to the wise (in view of the fact that I wasn't very wise about this costly little lesson):  Just because the package for a deodorizing cake gives instructions that say it should be hung by the wire (or whatever it is) over the toilet rim - that doesn't mean it ought to be.   mad  mad

My high point for today I managed to take a shower without having to cut it short or hearing she hit me,he has my toy or I have bubble gum in my hair.My low point finding out the reason it was so quiet was because my wonderful children decided to paint the house with bright pink nail polish.
