When My husband and I went to our car in the parking place, he pointed me to the ground next to our car. There was a 10 Euro paper money on the ground waiting to be picked up.What do you do? Do you pick it up or not?

Generally I don't pick up when I see any such things.
If I take also, I will better give it to a needy person?
But I am willing to know what did you do when you saw this?

We did not pick it up because we felt uneasy and we thought that there might be somebody making a joke or just have a hidden camera somewhere. It was in the parking place of an appartment complex and we had the feeling we were observed. We are living in Germany...

What would it matter if someone was filming or whatever? I would pick up the money. If you don't, someone else will.

I would pick it up. If there was someone nearby I would ask if they lost some money, but otherwise I'd keep it.

Just leave it there, then there is a chance it will still be there when I walk past and I can nab it!!!!

What strange twisted moral values would even make you think there was anything wrong with picking it up ! ?  If you felt strongly enough then you could always try to find the owner, if that is impossible then it is yours - by common right and in law.
