I have a forum thread and I want it removed, nobody responded to it anyhow and it is old, should I just, report it and select other and state my reason?
Sorry for the delay, your thread has been deleted. The moderation team doesn't get to forum flags until the afternoons on the weekend.
Thank you ever so much Norah Made me a lot happier, I guess maybe commenting on this thread could be closed now?
Well nobody responded to my question so I went ahead and reported my thread, I explained I no longer wanted my forum thread and requested it be removed
Thanks for this very useful and interesting info, Richie. ;-)
I wasn't providing any 'info', I was asking a question obviously and a question others may wish to have answered.
Hey Ritchie,
You can request a forum post to be removed to Hub team and have it removed when You are the one who wrote the post. I have done it and had one removed as have others before. It might not be immediate, depending on the reason.
Keep in mind though, only your posts can be removed by your request. If others have replied to the post they would leave those up.
With this being the weekend and it is still up, might be next week, since most of the staff takes the weekend off.
Hope this helps!
Yeah I did remember they are off on the weekend, I reported it as other and it has no responses so Im hoping they can remove the whole thing. I wrote in the comment box to say I want it to be removed because someone online is trying to use the forum thread as evidence and harass me over another project.
OK. When I asked for one removed, I e-mailed them, but report might work.
Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I think the forum called The Sandpit is hidden from search engines eyes, which might have been a better place to post stuff you don't want others to see. In your case, I think I know what your post would have been about and now you need to be really careful what you do online.
Well I haven't mentioned what it is about here so I should be safe right? I didn't realize the Sandpit is private, I will know for the future now..I have been careful what I'm saying.
It's probably a good idea to be careful in any case. These people sound devious, and I believe they can find ways to stalk any conversation you have. Personally, on this topic I believe it would be safest for you to e-mail privately anyone who has (or may have) any useful knowledge about the subject, rather than discuss it openly, even in a private thread.
I know that Website Examiner has a background in the law, and I think that Pearldiver does too. I'm not sure that either one of them could legally, ethically give you actual legal advice; but they may be able to point you in the direction of sites where you can find answers to your questions.
I hope it all works out well for you!!
[PS - If you do decide to discuss things in The Sandpit, you could ask for any other threads you have opened on this subject to be moved to The Sandpit.]
One thing to not forget...they could sign-up and get a username and still see what you are saying.

Hello Everyone:I have seen several (NOT ALL) of our High-Scoring Authors here Publish a Hub and then Post a Thread in the Forum on the Same Topic. This probably, gives them more traffic. How far is this correct ?

Edweirdo asked me a question, a request to make a hub about a service I use in conjunction with HubPages. He wanted me to explain how it is setup and used since he could neither locate anything good on HubPages, through Google and the services own help section left him with more questions than...

I know there's been alot of changes here lately, but I can usually justify them in terms of being good for HubPages. This one I'm not so sure about. There was a thread in which the OP made outrageous and unsupported and in fact outright false claims. Several people pointed out that she was...

Okay this is great! I downloaded it this morning, and it's really working wonderfully. We all know Edweirdo, a very clever and useful hubber who created the HubDefender tool for us all which detects hub-theft and assists in dealing with it. Edweirdo has also written many helpful tutorial hubs on...

I've previously started a thread on this at http://hubpages.com/community/forum/141 … th-adsenseIn short, I used my YouTube AdSense account to apply for the Ad Program here at HubPages. For over a year, my AdSense account recorded absolutely no data and hits. Correspondingly, not even a cent...

Since there's a place for suggestions...What about an option for starting a thread and inviting specific people to it? Public and Private threads, in other words. That way people could debate a topic without interference, work on a hub project together...other things I probably haven't thought of...
