is it difficult for a website to disable right clicking?
There are many IT people on here and wondered if they could offer some insight.
it would solve so many problems here for many writers..
I found a spun hub in the hopper a short while while ago and highlighted a line from the hub and copy/pasted it into the report box. Then when I highlighted an almost identical line from articlesbase but what pasted wasn't the sentence but a link to the post, with a warning from articlesbase about copying!
Good on them!
Ergh, right click disabling is HIGHLY annoying in my opinion and should not be done, it also does nothing to deter content theft.

I am not sure how you do it, but I remember reading somewhere that you can disable right click on your articles to stop them being plagiarised by copy and paste, do you think its a good idea? Or do you believe that 'they' are stealing them in a different way? another thing, maybe if when we publish...

Is there any process to disable adsense on all of my Hubs in one shot ???? I just wanted to check Page Impressions and income.

I would love to see a restriction which doesn't allow visitors the option of stealing the content or images here on Hubpages. If the option to highlight text or right click on images was disabled, could it stop or slow down the chance of content from being stolen on here.

I decided to see how easy it was to prevent content from being copied. I did a quick search and found sites with codes to copy and paste onto your site. It took me 15 minutes to do one of my sites. Now neither my content or photos can be copied. I am not computer saavy, so...
