   Personally, I don't think my team(Redsox) need to get anyone. Once many players return from the DL, they will be in a position to contend for the Division Title and the World Series.

   They have to get past the yankees and rays and your pitching isnt as good as the rays!

      Actually, Redsox pitching will have no problem matching up with any team in the league and to think it cannot play with the big boys(Yankees and Rays), then you're just not being realistic.

   I feel the same about my team (yankees). With Phil Hughes on his way back to form and with Colon, Garcia and Nova competing for the other two rotation spots, I think theyre in pretty good. Im not one of those Yankees fans you hear about all the time that whine and cry disaster every time theyre in second place. And frankly I would just wish they get on with playing the games rather than giving those tools up in Bristol every excuse to theorize about how the big teams could pile on more rental players to their roster.

   never said they couldnt! The games they have with the rays and yankees are always fun to watch. Like last night 16innings great game! lost respect for scutero after he threw his bat and almost hit shoppach. You have beckett a fragile buckhultz and ????????? after that!

      Like my original statement. The Redsox seem to be doing well, even though they are short on pitching, because of the DL list of players. However, when Lester returns a week from Tuesday, it will strengthen the bullpen.
      
      Then the starting line up for pitchers will be Beckett, Lester, Lackey, Wakefield, and rookie Miller(who has been doing well).
      
      Not to mention, one or two long relievers, to cover. The other end of the bullpen is solid.

   lackey, wakefield,miller are so far gone its not even funny. There all very inconsistant and the bullpen is shakey plus pap isnt as solid as he use to be. Your hitting is solid tho.

      No, opt, the sox are pretty solid. We are not unafraid of the talent in Boston, never are. And with the Rays, it just reinforces my already existing theory that the AL East is the only division in baseball worth watching most of the year. Do you realize how good the Jays and Orioles are? OK theyre not fantastic, but theyre probably the two best among the teams that dont have a snowball's chance in hell of making the postseason.

      The very fine and frequently adequate Buck Showalter. I wasn't happy when he left but I'm not one to complain about Torre's performance.

   wow.... Most people didnt like when buck left! Its funny how managers get fired after a season or 2 and the teams improved. Gonzalez and Girardi are prime examples of that.

   The Rangers are hitting their stride. If they can get Heath Bell without giving up the farm, then they should do it. If not, I like the team as is.

    The rangers are a goof club from top to bottom. Bell shouldnt cost you but a couple of prospects. You dont need him you have feliz and tommy hunter is coming back soon.
