   That's my way of getting your attention (55% of all adult Americans have a car loan)..
   
   I wrote a hub recently that has been nominated as a potential hub nugget..

   I am very grateful that it has been nominated because it gives me the opportunity to ask all you hubbers to read this I wrote and get the very important word out.. 
   
   If you have an auto loan, you may be in for a world of headache, if you aren't prepared!  Check this hub out, and even if you don't vote for it as a hub nugget of the week, please pass thin info along to everyone you know who has an auto note...

   I've seen a few other folks on here today promoting their hubnugget page & asking for votes...I did a post, too because I figured it was alright if they other nominees were doing it and no one said anything lol. No one responded to my post anyways.

   EDIT Actually went through the forums and took a look. The other guys did not post links to their hubs, and their titles were not about promoting the hubs - at least those two that I looked at

      Yeah, I looked and noticed that all the other nominees that posted about it here basically just posted a thank you for the nomination..  I didn't realize I was breaking the rules..
      
      If I understand this correctly, I SHOULD post a link to my hub at ANY of my other forums that I frequent, but I SHOULDN'T do so here?  If this be the case, my apologies..  (I would remove my link if I could, but it appears as though I can't), but I can't say it makes sense..

   I think Maddie (HP moderator) is away, she usually reacts pretty fast. She will just remove your link when she is back. And I posted on the other thread too, you are absolutely correct, it is breaking the rules
   
   Oh, and nobody REQUIRE that you promote your hubs on other forums, this is solely between yourself and those forums

      Thank you, I didn't mean require..  Let me rephrase.
      
      Hubpages suggests as a traffic builder that we post links to our hubs anywhere that we can, as long as it is pertinant to the website we are on (i.e. not spam)..  But they DO NOT suggest that we do the same here?
      
      I am just wanting to make sure I understand this, for future reference..

         Just read what it says on the top left when you make a post:
         
         "Do not start threads for the sole purpose of promotion or posting links."
         
         Adding a relevant link during conversation is fine.
