This is to good to have been made up. Newsmax has stated that we have a Koch trying to help fill the hole vacated by a Wiener
http://www.newsmax.com/InsideCover/Koch … ode=CAF2-1
The river of crap still flows freely from the right. Koch suggests that the congfressional race should be turned into a referendum to protest the positions of Obama and the GOP leadership. He feels the Gop and the Dems have failed Americans in at least two ways. Koch states that not a single law that would provide jobs in our country has been adopted.( I thought those falsely labelled job creating tax cuts were extended recently, my bad)
He also has a problem with the War Powers Act. Koch accuses Obama of continued hostilites with out congressional approval and feels that impeachment proceedings should be underway. his next statement is worthy of a direct quote "Imagine what a Congress would have done had George W. Bush engaged in a similar violation of the War Powers Act".
Once he got the smoke screen out of the way he states that rather than discuss these issues he dicided that it would make more sense to offer the local voters a referendum on matters he believes they talk about every day. The primary item of concern of these people is, in his opinion President Obama’s open hostility to the State of Israel. He states that Obama is willing to throw Isreal under the bus. He complains that Obama is making demands upon Isreal and none have been made upon the Palestines.
He complains that the GOP desires to continue with the policy of GW Bush that sought to privatize Social Security and Medicare while attempting to turn Medicaid into a block grant.
He states "The Republicans want to end these three programs as entitlements. Most Democratic and Republican voters in the U.S. support continuing those vital programs as entitlements."
Koch supports a GOP candidate, Bob Turner who he states agrees with the Koch position on the four main topics. Isreal, SS, Medicare and Medicaide. When asked if he thought the Democratic candidate David Werpin who is a major supporter of Isreal and opposes the changes to SS, Medicare and Medicaide would not be able to do the same job. He feels that Weprin would be viewed as being nothing more than another Dem elected by the Jews.
He feels that the election of a Republican by the Democrats would send a message to Obama. What all this malarky really means is that this Koch wants to replace a Democratic Wiener with another bought and paid for Republican Dick. Let the screwing continue and 86 the KY jelly America.
It took this Koch the entire article to try and explain that he simply wants another Republican in a seat formally held by a Democrat. He even pretended to be upset with the GOP, lol. The story is from Newsmax which should explain everything. Another Murdich publication and we know how responsible that organization is.

Mayor Ed Koch is a Democrat.
Apparently Koch is now a DINO (see bolded paragraph)
I think he has become one of the Koch brothers!
This is response from JTA:
NEW YORK (JTA) -- Former New York Mayor Ed Koch, as promised, endorsed the Republican candidate for Anthony Weiner’s vacated congressional seat.
Koch, who made the official announcement Monday, had said he was going to back the GOP's Bob Turner over Democratic Assemblyman David Weprin in the special election for New York’s 9th District in a bid to force President Obama to change his Israel policies.
"If David Weprin is elected, you think that sends a message?" Koch, a Democrat, said when he announced his endorsement in Queens. "His election would be viewed by President Obama as simply that of another Democrat elected to office in what is one of the largest Jewish constituencies in the nation."
The National Jewish Democratic Council rebuked Koch.
“Ed Koch’s most recent actions reveal his true colors; sadly, he's just a former Democrat who is now a contrarian, attention-seeking shill for the GOP,” NJDC President David Harris said in a statement. “Which is deeply troubling given his heyday as a leading Jewish Democrat.”
The statement listed a number of examples, such as Koch’s 2004 endorsement of George W. Bush, as reasons his “conduct places him squarely outside the mainstream of the American Jewish community -- to say nothing of the Democratic Party.”
Koch's endorsement of Turner over Weprin, an Orthodox Jew, came with a caveat, however: He took the opportunity to take a swipe at Republican leadership over the debt crisis.
“I think the Republicans are scoundrels in the way they're handling the matter -- the Republican leadership, I mean," Koch said.
Turner brushed off the criticism, calling it “vintage Ed.”
The 9th District, which meanders between Brooklyn and Queens, is likely to be eliminated in the decennial redistricting.

Would a Trump Presidency Be an Embarrassment for the United States and the Republican Party?Trump has been a Democrat most of his life. He brags that he can buy politicians, having given millions to Hillary's campaign and well as her Foundation. He scammed thousands of people out of millions of...

Obama and his leftist ideology, coupled by sheer incompetence has come back to haunt/daunt him and bite him in so many places, that people are wondering if his Presidency would ever recover from the myriad scandals that has plagued his second term, from Benghazi to the IRS to the...

I would say that the odds are that Hillary Clinton will run for President in 2016. I don't think her ego will allow her to do otherwise. Now to my mind, the moment Hillary announces her candidacy it will be a forgone conclusion that the democratic nomination is hers. She can literally just phone it...

Is former president Obama a hypocrite when it comes to wealth? He and his wife Michelle have earned their many millions fairly using the capitalistic system. I do wonder why does he no longer speak the same way about the wealthy? There was a time when former president Obama had...

It is an example of the hypocrisy of the left. They believe they protect black people, except for black conservatives. I know black conservatives who have been lectured by white, female, liberals about being black. If a white liberal says anything racist about a black...
