Either he is a bad God or there is no God...I'd wager there is no God!

Don't you like being a guinea pig in Gods illustrious experiment?

#1) He wants to see how well his creation(Nature) works.
        or
#2) He wants to see how well his creation(Humankind) adapts.
        or
#3) He is a complete and utter moron.
        or
#4) Nature has no controller- Thus No God.

Personally, #4 is the most likely. wink

It is natural; so the Creator God should not be blamed. Man should understand nature and avoid the disasters.

Absolutely, while man was doing his very best to understand nature so he could avoid those disasters, he found that nature was to blame for them, not a Creator God.

You see, the Creator God removed all evil from men and put it into nature, that's why it's natures fault for the disasters as well as the wars, crimes and atrocities committed by men, all contrived and deployed for the preservation of not having to blame the Creator God.

Then your God is complete nonsense.

What kind of omniscient, omnipotent God is not in complete control of His creation?

No, people should stop assigning natural disasters to an invisible no effect sky fairy for starters! smile

          Works for Insurance companies lol

I see many are revamping their policies to blame God for even more now.

I don't get how this God thing gets all the credit for the good stuff, the blessings of a pretty sunset or chance encounter with a wonderful person, but as soon as things go bad and we have a natural disaster its not God's fault/responsibility? He gets the credit when things go right but the second there is a disaster we shouldn't be looking to God to sort it out?!?! (I mean, assuming this all powerful super being actually exists).

Saying that man should understand nature and avoid disasters is just not well thought through. Predicting the next natural disaster is as possible as predicting the next winning lottery numbers using chaos theory. Basically its saying, blame the victim...

If you need a reason... To teach compassion.

If you can accept the belief that there is NO REASON, then bad things just happen.  They just happen. But God's still there.

        Good answer-I like that.

For example did you know that the world actually has enough food to feed EVERYONE.

        So God already provided.

Guess we gotta share, and quit hoarding it all up for ourselves people.

When I was a kid I would happily have sent my brussel sprouts to the hungry and needy of the world (or if my dogs would have eaten..... LOL). Sadly just because I had the food to give didn't mean I had the means to get that food half way round the world in time for it to be eaten and not gone rotten. This has been the problem pretty much for all of our history, what people needs exists, but they cannot get it.....

Lol yes I said the same thing.

The reality is corporations move millions of products everyday, ships cross oceans daily.

            Its not impossible.

But there definately needs to be a different system in place over all.

I dont think it needs to necessarily be a one way street either, but without the motivation of money ,it wont be a popular enterprise.

I grew up pretty much the same way as do many today still do.

I think its a much bigger attitude though, its called the village attitude ,where people care and share...its an 'Us'

Our Western world mentality usually means ,I, I get for me ,then if I feel like it I will give you some.

              Here here sister!

The western world mentality seems to have a disconnect between freedom/prosperity and responsibility. With great power comes great responsibility as a character of fiction once said wink

Not being a naturalist I'll simply say the planet has to be the planet meaning volcanoes will erupt, hurricanes will appear, tornadoes will swirl and the planet will function like a planet. The problem comes when mankind wants to challenge nature for example people like an ocean view and so they claimed the land closest to the shore only to discover in time the ocean reclaims that land back. The New Orleans tragedy is an example of underestimating nature.

God doesn't allow natural disasters . . . mankind is the cause.  God gave mankind dominion over this earth.  He has supplied us with everything we need to take care of it.

Natural disasters happen when there are concentrated pockets of sin . . . People allowing "S"atan "IN".  Satan is the destroyer according to John 10:10, not God!

We are having many disasters in these times because many people are turning away from "good" and embracing the wicked.

God doesn't 'allow' natural disaster & disease, they're merely a byproduct of the laws of existence.

Why does God allow natural disaster and disease?

I don't think the Creator God allows disaster or disease. He has set certain laws of the Universe which work and bring disaster or disease; the same laws give us health and prosperity.
