I would like to write a hub piece on a vital element of creative writing, collecting and storing ideas but I do not quite understand how to start. Seems a bit complicated to me. I would also like to write others on a different topic, focusing on the Fine Arts, The various arts movements and periods such as the Arts and Crafts Movement, Bedermeier, Art Noveau, Deco.  The leading lights of that period but starting to write wone seems too complicated

It is always the first hub that is the hardest..but once you get started your thoughts will flow and you will find it difficult to stop writing.
The learning center has the rest of the info you need for getting started..

I tried everything to get started, even clicked the learning centre, there is so much but does not give the basics to start. I expected at the bottom a large space to begin but no, amongst the information, I do not know which to click. Impossible

Have you ever checked out the Learning Center? If not, that's really the place to start. Read the info and watch any tutorial videos there.

As far as your ideas on writing on various arts movements, my suggestion is don't try to do too much in one hub. If you want to write on Art Deco, take just one artist from that period or one medium (glass, pottery, etc) in that period and trace its development through that period.

Hi, the learning centre as mentioned really is a good place to start.

When you start making hubs keep in mind that you do not have to make and publish a hub straight away in one go.

You can keep a hub unpublished and return to it to improve it as you discover what works well. If you feel put off making a start just make a few hubs and delete or improve them until you are happy enough with them to share them then publish them.

Good luck, this is a good place to learn and the capsule way of building a hub is relatively easy once you make a start.

The one thing that you cannot change on a hub is the URL, so pick that and your title carefully.

The rest is easy to alter as you learn more. smile

What is something that interests you, in particular? I can point you in the right direction!

Also, you might want to try this, in particular:
    http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/in-depth-vs-broad

You might want to use the AdWords keyword tool:
    http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/google-keyword-tool

And type in "creative writing ideas" and see what it gives ya!

Feel free to shoot me a message and I'll work with you and help you hand-craft your first hub! From reading your profile it sounds like you've got a lot of potential and I think you could teach readers a lot of cool things!
