Unable to 'save' edits lately

I'm not sure who to address this with, or how to fix this problem: I am experiencing an inability to 'save' the edits I've made to some of my hubs.  It hasn't happened 100% of the time, but 99% is pretty frustrating.

It happens when I try to 'save' a change from a broken link or to 'save' the changed area of a previously published hub that I have edited.  What happens is that as I hit the 'save' box the page jumps away from me...continuously.

I finally just leave the page as it is, which does not solve the problem.  Anyone ?   Please help...Thanks.

I am having the same issue while trying to begin a new hub.  I have not been able to edit the first text capsule because everytime I click "save" the capsule moves to the right.  To leave the capsule I have to place the cursor at the far right of the discard button so I can double click.  If the save button were wider I could possibly do the same...

jimmythejock also reported this this weekend.

Could you please share which browser, platform, and browser version you are using?

I am getting this problem at work with IE7, Windows Vista. We do not have Firefox at work so this is a major problem! The 'save' button does not seem to work on any module - it essentially moves the 'box' to the right - I am able to 'discard' changes - although I have to click to the 'right' of this button - it's as if the focus of the buttons has shifted.....

...please try and fix ASAP!! I'm trying to edit my next entry into the new competition!!!!

      Hi Denise,

Browser refers to the internet browser you are using, ie, Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Chrome.

The version is the version number of that browser, ie Internet Explorer 7, Firefox 5.0.

Platform is the operation system (Windows XP, Windows Vista, OSX 10.5, etc)

I have a pretty good idea what she's using because we talk often (she's my sister).

Denise is probably using IE, probably NOT v. 7 and she is using Windows (but probably not Vista).  I know those aren't definitive but hope that helps a bit.

9 out of 10 times these kind of problems are invariably solved by switching to Firefox. smile smile smile

FF and Macs make a great combo. Everything is instant.

Is there at least a workaround? Can you turn on the old editor?

Sorry for the late reply, SimeyC.

The only workaround is to try another browser. I would be sure to try Firefox, since no one is experiencing a problem with it.

Thanks Jason - sadly our work has a policy that we can only use the browser that they approve - so that's my editing during lunchtime out of the window LOL I'll just have to do the research and save in Word until I get home!!!

Sorry about that, Simon! I hope engineering can fix the problem soon, since it's inconveniencing a few Hubbers.
