I know we have all suffered over the last few months.  The pointless moaning, bickering and playground insults have been tedious... and I can only apologise for posting so many of them.

Anyway, I have found the cause.  A writer who I shall not name - but they will know who they are - wrote a two thousand word quality hub with pictures, video and a quiz.  At first glance this looks brilliant.  But look a little closer and what did I find?

They had used an incorrect conjugation of a verb!!!!

I have privately messaged them a death threat.

      OMG LMAO.

Get the lynch mob ready. The rest of us will meet you on main street with the pitchforks.

lol - pitchforks.  What a great cartoon - the villagers, the pitchforks, the fires and the caption "Here lives the man who incorrectly conjugated a verb".

lol I know you do, Mark. I had a friend who also loved killing. But then he met his wife and quit doing it to make her happy.

The worst is what we are going to do to the poor guy with the dangling participle.

Excellent! The only thing is I don't know anything about good grammar.  I had to look up conjugating verbs to see how to make a comment using it.

You proper writers better take over now.  I'm off to try and draw a pitchfork.

Using such words as conjugating verbs may trigger the forum police, surely it has sexual innuendo and as such is banned?

Yes, we must purge this site of the sin of word witch craft.  I suggest the Iron Virgin - nobody does her twice.

Thanks very much.  It's slowly coming together - shoddy cartoon, snappy punchline - plus the nerve to do it.  I have a lot to be grateful to HP for, and HPers of course.

I like the idea of being considered a Hper rather than a Hubber as it sounds more dynamic.

            How about a HarPie?

It's more or less how I look anyway, at least before I've had my first cup of coffee in the mornings lol

I don;t have a flaming torch, but I do have a pitchfork.  Will that do?

I reckon.  It's been a while since I attended one of these things.  You can have either, or both I reckon.  The more modern ones are baseball bats and CS gas but it doesn't have that same kind of traditional feel to it.

    LMAO,

I read that as ride me to death and glory.

Then I read it again.  It made more sense the second time, but it was much more interesting the first.
