The Topic Dump: Hubs You Don't Want to Write

Ever have a great idea for a hub, but don't want to write it?

I figure one man's trash is another man's treasure, right? We could dump the things we would LOVE to read about (but would HATE to write about), right here! (Or just general ideas for a hub you have that you know you'll never get around writing.)

If you're looking for ideas for hubs, then this could be a good place to look.

    I'll start.

Hubs I don't want to write, but would love to read:

    How to Make Choucroute Garnie
How to Make Rosettes (the cookie)
How to Protect Yourself From a Stalker
Beautiful Sights in Bosnia (You never hear much about Bosnia aside from political issues and I bet it's really pretty there.)
How to Take the Perfect Photo (I know zilch about photography)

What are some topics you would like to read about (or just not write about?) Before you write on any topics, make sure you do some keyword research so you can come up with the perfect title and a fine-tuned topic!

Learning Center guides that'll help you out if the thought of keyword research sends shivers down your spine:
    http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/in-depth-vs-broad
    http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/long … ch-traffic

If this idea works out, I'll create a compendium hub of all the ideas that people come up with (so it'll be an easy one-stop shop for hub ideas.)

I'd love to read a hub about obscure U.S. Presidents.
    For starters:

William Henry Harrison; POTUS for about 30 days after becoming the first candidate to ever spend a million on his campaign and then dropped dead.

Millard Fillmore; POTUS for two years and failed to get renominated by his own party.

Warren Harding; first POTUS with African-American ancestors and also rang the fire alarm several times a week because he loved looking at the trucks.

That's actually a fantastic topic - not sure I'm the one to write it, but I'd certainly love to read it.

Personally, I'd be interested in reading something about making money online... preferably as a writer. HP does seem to be scarce in that area...

There are a bunch of writing online goodies over here:
        http://hubpages.com/topics/books-litera … ancing/556

One that are more specific to HubPages here:
        http://hubpages.com/topics/hubpages-tut … -hubs/2860

And for getting traffic to your content from search engines:

I would love to see more hubs on programming! I write about programming, but those articles end up on my blog (not really long enough for HP.) That said, I LOVE learning about programming and would love to read some high quality hubs on programming. There are a bunch of hubs on the C programming language, but very, very few on the Ruby programming language (my favorite) half of which are spam hubs I've reported months ago and miscategorized ones (on jewelery.)

There's a heap of stuff on HubPages about that!  Of course, you have to be careful because some of it is absolute rubbish.

Or our 14th President, Franklin Pierce. Arguably one of the worst in history, abandoned in office by his own party.

Woah, now I want to go research obscure American presidents. Actually... I want to research all the presidents now, since I love politics but know very little about the presidents.
