I keep checking and it seems like it's taking forever to reach my first $100 check!!!! Aaaaahhhhh!!!! I can't wait. Then I'll have to start from scratch again. I guess that's how it works.

You're almost there. It will happen soon now.  I remember when I was patiently  watching my earnings get closer and closer to that very first check. Then when it reached the threshold for payment it bounced right over it and my first payment was $119.  Nice surprise. You may have that happen too. Anyway, Congratulations for being almost there.

When I first signed up the threshold was $50.  Based on what I was earning in those first two/three months, I calculated that it would take me about ten months to get to $50.  It didn't.  I don't recall exactly when I got very close to $50 (a few months, I guess), but what I don't forget is that Google upped the threshold to $100.  (Kind of the story of my life.  I won't go into it.  roll)  However, my calculations based on those first couple of months were wrong.  I was paid at, I think, eight months and began being paid every month since (well, except for a couple of months following Panda.  hmm)  Moral to this story?  I guess it might be:  "Sometimes things aren't as bleak as they seem," or maybe:  "Sometimes when things are going along really nicely, some big, "horrible", thing goes on and wrecks everything."  hmm  Maybe more appropriate:  "Some change is good. Some change is bad.  Either way, change is inevitable; so don't count your chickens before they hatch, but don't disregard the warnings that 'the sky is falling' either."  (This post is, I know, a little heavy on "flimsy morals to the story", as well as the wordy, chicken/hen-associated wisdom.  But, hey, it's a holiday weekend, and I thought I'd try to make my boring little story a little more colorful.

I had my first 100 dollar payout recently.  It took me forever to reach that...  Best wishes!

Congratulations! I remember my first payout -- it felt really good! It really motivates you to write a lot more and you'll see your next payout roll in a bit faster. Watch!

Yes, I'm already feeling motivated to write more just cause I want to see another check, well, and I like to write. That would be nice if my second check doesn't take as long as the first. Thanks
