I have been 7 months here, with reasonably good build up of traffic, then suddenly and I mean in one day my traffic dropped dramatically by 66 percent.  This rop has continued over the last 3 days, I cannot account for why such a sudden decline.  My stats befoe the drop were basded on the panda and now sudenly a further major drop.  I understand others have had major traffic increases which i too saw, but on the average before the upward fluctuations I now see a 66 percent decrease.  Any ideas what gives?

      Hello Multi:

I just noticed this sudden drop in traffic myself over the past two days. Not sure what the contributing factor or reason for this is? For the most part I did fairly well in earnings for the month of August, managing to earn over $2 bucks and change. But so far starting out of the gate this month, things are at a stand still. And once again, this has nothing other to do with null traffic. Do not have any ideas of why this is happening either.

I've only been on the site 3 months personally and am beginning to see positive upward trajectory on my traffic from outside of hubpages so maybe i'm not the best person to comment on this

I'm not a specialist in SEO however have you specialised in writing in a particular area? I've not experienced a drop myself except for general daily fluctuations- however the gross majority of my hubs centre around sports and fitness.

I've heard people prior to the subdomain switch talking about having their own sets of subdomains for particular subject areas which they might consider as a way forward.

Last week, I hit a MAJOR traffic increase, but once I hit my peak, it decreased, and is still decreasing.

I was so happy when my traffic increased 1000%, but now it seems to be dropping. If it does not maintain soon, I will be back to original traffic levels after panda, or not much higher.

lol same with me. I have a hub that I published in November 2010, and it has just reached 100,000 views other day. smile

I am getting hubs similar to that one now, I just hope Google does not punch me in the mouth.

My overall traffic is still decreasing since my 12K peak, but it seems to be slowing down.

I don't think you are interpreting the number correctly. For example the '1 day' number is a running average that changes hourly, not daily. So it can go down.

I think they expect us to write hubs so that people can like read them or something.
      hmm

That's it!  There's these little spiders crawling around everywhere.  If we don't write anything they can't read it and downcheck it.  Gotta keep 'em busy. smile
