Chocolate is not EVIL

   I love me some chocolate. It doesn't matter what kind really but I'm trying to not eat as much and if I do eat chocolate, I'll have the chocolate covered raisans for the antioxidants and dark chocolate rather than milk chocolate because I think dark chocolates have flavenoids or something that is good for your heart. MMMMMMmmmmm chocolate....

      MMMMM is right.
      I feel fortunate in that I actually prefer dark chocolate to milk.
      But if milk is the only kind available, I snarf it down happily .
      There are all kinds of studies on the health benefits of chocolate.
      Alas, I have yet to see any that place chocolate in any recommended "5 servings a day" food group. Darn!

      It's not the cacao/chocolate that's bad, it's the sugar which is added that is bad, bad, bad, bad sugar.  Cacao - antioxidants.  Sugar - void of nutritional value, depletes the body of vital nutrients and doesn't give anything back, tricks the brain into thinking it has not had any nutrients so you crave more, contains bleach, chemicals, pesticides.
      
      Cacao - good fat.  Sugar - no fat.  Good fat - good.  Sugar - bad.

      Both milk and plain have various benefits,  Milk has calcium in.  Good for bones.
      Plenty of chocolate can inhibit sexual urges:  (ie.  An afrodysiac -excuse spelling),  too much chocolate can cause head aches.  So fellas if you're wanting some good old fashioned "NOOKIE"!  Hide those bars from your women!!!

   Usually chocolate does nothing for me, as I have a savoury tooth.  However, I do like expensive Belgian chocolates, even though I can't really afford them.

   I hope, one day they will STOP puting sugar (and a lot of it) and will invent something else instead (good thing not chemicals) and then it will be as good as it should be.
