I noticed a stat in my analytics which made me smile.  One of my hubs has now had over 28,000 views and has not had one single click on adsense!  I wonder if that is some kind of record?  it just goes to show that just attracting readers is not enough in this game.

Wow, that's quite a stat tongue  I wonder if the content could be slightly tweaked for better results.

Do you allow adsense to customize the ads from viewer history?  And are ads enabled for that hub?

That is an amazing number of views to not have a single click - there must be some reason.

There are lots of Hub topics that have a strong potential for "eyeballs only."  People who crank out photo-only Hubs often complain about getting similar results.

Yikes 28000 and not a single click!? And here I thought my stats were weird for not having clicks with hundreds of views lol.

It's because 99% of the traffic comes from mobile devices.  The vast majority of visits don't even show ads when users see the hub in question.  It doesn't worry me as I have plenty of other hubs that get 20 visits a day and a click every other day.  But it does make me smile that I have had so many visits for no actual profit.

Why not try creating a webpage out of the hub content and then use Google Mobile ads?
I have a few sites which use mobile ads and I get quite a few clicks

Congrats! Also, it's pretty amazing that you went from 28000 views to 35000 in just three days! yikes Which hub is this??

That would be telling!  To be honest despite it's massive amounts of views, it's not really very valuable to me, simple because the views it gets are from people who never click on anything.

Nah I turned hub ads off, I seem to be making more on Adsense.

Oh is that possible? I've heard people talking about that but couldn't figure out how to do it, if you could please tell me that'd be great.

Sure, its pretty simple.  Go to the earnings page when it list Adsense, Hubpages, Amazon etc...  Click the Configure button next to Hubpages Ads and you can change the settings there.  For some people Hub Ads are more profitable than others, I'm finding that Adsense seems to earn me slightly more.
