What Superhero character should they bring to the big screen next?

0Well seeing as how Ryan Reynolds is already cast as the Green Lantern, and it's inevitable sequel, then I'd be for a Flash film only if Chris Pine plays the part. Although Ryan Reynolds would've been perfect for the Flash, I think Chris Pine can still pull it off.
Another list of characters that should get their own movie coming soon are as follows:
Deadpool: Deadpool has always been one of the most unique anti-heroes ever made, and I think with the amount of superhero movies that are starting to repeat themselves, then I think Deadpool's unconventional and "breaking the fourth wall" spin will be perfect to revitalize interest into a genre that's starting to show it's age.
Silver Surfer: Out of all the cool superheroes out there, you know he has to get his own movie eventually. Sure, he was mishandled in the "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer", but they're rebooting "Fantastic Four" anyway, so you can get away with a new movie based on him. Just cast Andy Serkis to play him for the motion capture stuff, as he's already shown that he can make a great CGI character seem real like Gollum or Caesar.
Wonder Woman: Seriously, this character is arguably the most disrespected character in all of comic books. Not only is she one of DC's big 3, but she was also one of the very first female superheroes, and arguably the most iconic one at that. Where's her movie? I think the problem is that too many people often focus on the feminism aspects of Wonder Woman that they fail to see that behind that metaphor lies a very unique character. A character that's history is drenched heavily within mythology that could easily make a great film if the right director came along to do it justice. Make it happen WB.
Shazam: Yes, you heard me. Make Shazam into a film. Sure, i know a lot of film critics will probably hate the movie, but I think it could work potentially, as he does have a broad appeal when you stop to think about it. If you stop to look at the character's history, the premise is essentially the film "Big" meets "Superman: The Movie." What kid wouldn't want to be a superhero? Especially considering how many superhero films there are out there? I'm sure many of you will argue if he's such an interesting character, then why hasn't he been that relevant for the last few decades. However, keep in mind that when the character did make his debut, his comic sales were literally kicking Superman's a$$ on a regular basis; in spite of the fact that Captain Marvel was OBVIOUSLY ripping off certain elements of Superman. No, for some reason, people seemed to like the idea of a boy turning into a superhero like Superman, than the actual superman character himself. However, when DC bought the rights to Captain Marvel, they changed the comic title to Shazam (for obvious reasons), and down played his role in the DC universe, so he wouldn't dare outshine superman again. The point is, I think in the right hands, you can make a great Shazam movie.
Namor: I think Namor would be an extremely interesting character to see onscreen, as he definitely has a unique history that would make for a great cinematic movie.
Spawn: Although, he did get a movie back in the nineties, the film didn't do the character much justice. To be honest, I would love to see an "R-rated" spawn reboot that not only remained faithful to the original story, but one that would force audiences to challenge their religious perceptions, as that's how the original comic book was. If they portrayed it as controversial, then it could work. Sure, Todd McFarlane (the creator) would probably get sued, and I know the Catholic Church would have something to say about it, but it would still be a great film to see.
Groo: Cast Jack Black in this part, and I'm in. Who wouldn't want to see a parody version of "Conan the barbarian" come to life?
Metal Gear Solid: I think out of all the video game franchises out there, Metal Gear Solid is one of the few series that actually has an interesting story line to make for a great film. It has great characters, a deep story, clever plot twists, and genuine character developments. I think in the right hands, you can turn that into a movie. Granted, I know this doesn't fall into superhero type films, but it's still worth mentioning
As for everyone else suggesting Aqua Man, then I can only tell you that if Aqua Man gets a movie, it will fail. The character was never interesting to begin with, and his story lines were never engaging enough. Namor on the other hand has the whole outcast bit among his own kind which only helps add layers to his characters; whereas Aqua Man...he can talk to fish......yeah....
You know, I've always wondered that if Aqua Man can talk to fish, then why doesn't he get a series of great white sharks to...EAT...all his enemies for him? Or if you want to use the whole.."He doesn't kill" excuse, then why doesn't he just get a giant squid to capture his enemies for him? Plus, aren't most of his enemies from the Ocean too? If that's the case, then why can't he communicate telepathically with them too? After all, I thought under water telepathy meant being able to talk to EVERYTHING that resided within the seas. If that being the case, then couldn't he just mind f*** the hell out of his enemies until they stopped being villains. Or does his telepathy only work on sea animals that are well...stupid.. if that's the case, then I don't see why he can't call a series of giant squids and great white sharks to help him. Just saying. I do apologize if anyone here is offended by what I said, but I'm merely stating an opinion. I guess nobody remembers the radio Dan Dare then, a real hero rather than the brightly coloured psychotic type of weirdo of more modern lineage !!

i know, but I think the whole anti-hero bit along with "Breaking the fourth wall" type references in a superhero film would be extremely interesting to see, as the character himself would know that he was fake. How cool would that be?
