      Very interesting.  Is that a legit old poster there?
      
      The opportunity to fight a tyrannical government.  And 50 acres of land to boot (if one lived to occupy those 50 acres I guess..).
      
      Looks like a decent plan to me.
      
      And the descendants of Great Britain, unlike other tyrants,  has finally figuratively acquired the proper humility about how they had to "let (their) people go".   Amen.

               They were given many more acres.  Of course they had to massacre the Indians occupying the acres, then have their slaves plow and plant the acres, so it wasn't all grog and crumpets for the patriots.

                        Contrary to popular belief the indians were not all peaceful lil hippies smoking in the woods and loving one another. They had their own wars and conflicts, and they helped the new comers as needed to secure the new-comers help against their own enemies.
                        
                        It was not so simple as we came and over-crowded them, or there would have never been a problem.
