Religion isn't destroying humanity, it is the monied manipulation of religion that is destroying humanity, and the continued degrading of democracy and community across the western world. What potentially "free" community activity can one partake in these days other than Church? People are becoming extremely isolated and dis-empowered politically. Ironically, it is also religion that is in some case fighting back against these trends; social justice movements are often largely faith based. Arguing against religion is futile and doesn't address the underlying problems.

He may have been banned again. He said:

"And, you would be an indoctrinated spoiled brat. "

I could be wrong. I wonder what poor, mistreated soul reported him?

This whole diatribe, dialog is pointless. Cagsil, I don't know you and I've never read any of your previous writings so, I'm not at all in the place to agree / disagree with your sentiments or beliefs, but I will say, to EVERYBODY, that when it becomes apparent that neither side of the debate podium is going to AT ALL sway or enlighten the opposing individuals, then the entire dialog thread could be reduced to, "Oh yeah!" "I Know I am but what are you!"
Seriously , when you read a hub that invokes feelings which leads to statements like
"You are INFRINGING upon their rights to live their life how they see fit, regardless of whether or not, you agree. It isn't your damn place."    I have to ask myself...."Why did you READ IT AT ALL? Not to mention that the above referenced comment IS ITSELF " INFRINGING upon others  rights to Put into print topics that are important to the writer, which is just one freedom that comes with the right to  live their life how they see fit, regardless of whether or not, you agree. It isn't your damn place." .... Anything beyond just disagreeing and ignoring other such articles and statements that YOU KNOW you will totally disagree with....is vanity, nothing more, nothing less! Nobody can force ANYTHING down your throat untill you stand in front of them....with your mouth wide open.

I hope Cags isn't banned ! That would not be nessesary at all! Cags is not a bad guy  , I actually enjoyed debating  with him from time to time ,and normally I'm not into debating at all, only when I feel that someone disses those who do believe in religion! And I'm no even a good Christian by other peoples standards. You see my church is the outdoors ,  I don't attend church nor tythe to a congegation ! I believe some people need organized religion , some don't ! To each his own ! But if that is good for one then its good for all. If Cags were being persecuted I would stand up for him too. he isn't a bad guy at all. I hope he doesn't take any of this personally . Peace Cags.

People have a right to their beliefs and the right to express them.  They also have the right to try to recruit new members to their way of thinking.  What do you think a political race is?

The only problem is when one group of believers try to impose their worldwide view on everyone else.  For example the silly notion of Adam and Eve instead of fact based biology in schools.

@earnest: Good morning sir; would you consider this to be an example of megalomania?
Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” (The Apostle Paul)
    How about this one?
“Ah, but a man's reach should exceed his grasp, or what's a heaven for?” (Robert Browning).
BTW, just so that some people don’t have cause to think that this all is an example of ramming beliefs down their throats, or the like, here is another:
We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may. (Mormon 11th Article of Faith).
