Apart from amazon and ebay, what affiliate programs have you run with great success?

There are so very many out there, it can get overwhelming. What personal guidelines do you use when choosing if an affiliate program is right for you?

I have only promoted Amazon and Clickbank products, but when evaluating other affiliate programs, four factors to look at are: the length of the cookie, the commission, the pay schedule, and the sale's page. As an affiliate, your job is to presell the product while the company makes the final sale. If the sale's page doesn't motivate you to want to buy, it won't motivate others either.

I have experienced hub violation problems with clickbank hop links. 2 Amazon links apart from capsules are the only ones that I'm currently running at HP.

Thanks for taking the time to post David 470

I'm not established here enough yet to be able to get an Adsense account. I'll publish some more hubs and give it a little time wink. Google won't be able to say no lol

I sold a lot on clickbank but their rules about payment was so absurd I left.
I've had some good sales with shareasale and amazon and HP ads of course.

I'm not a big fan of clickbank, a lot of their links lead to pages that are not acceptable for HP, even though the products are.

However I haven't used ShareSale before, I've just talken a look and am now going to sign up.

Thank you Stacie L for sharing your experiences, much appreciated wink

My experience with Click Bank is that their products are inferior, or seem like it.  Google Affiliates has an enormous amount of businesses to choose from.  It is slowly starting to be my rule to not be affiliated with someone unless I use their product or services.  If I can feel good about that, then I will not mind promoting them, and therefore myself.
