Are there plans for a mobile version of HP like Google has a mobile version of Blogger?
Or has this already been discussed and I just missed it?

If you are after the ability to create and edit your own hubs this is not currently possible with mobile devices with the current app (such as smart phones and some tablets)

Well Blogger just has a template they apply and you don't have to download anything.
I thought maybe HP was thinking along the same lines.

They may be, but no facility like it is available as yet.

For "technology challenged" here, my husband just bought both of us iPhones. How do I locate the app to add in on my phone?  I read the link here on my desk top but I don't need the download here-I need the download on my phone.

I realize this is probably a basic question, please forgive my lack of iPhone knowledge-I can find the apps but there are thousands of them. How do I search on my iPhone?

That's why a template would be easier than an app.

I hear ya Sabreblade. Me and many others have looked at trying to update hubs via mobile web browsing, but for me I have found that it's not possible as yet using Safari on an iPhone, the current interface just doesnt like it. I haven't used Firefox or any other browser yet but I will try it very soon.

I'm also sure that the engineers at Hubpages have this on their to do list for the future.

      Hi GmaGoldie,

      Give the following a try,

      1. Go to the App Store on the main screen, press one finger once on the icon to open

      2. Press your one finger once on the search down the bottom.

      3. At the top press with one finger once at the white line at the top then a keyboard should pop up.

      4. Type in 'Hubpages' ( without the quotes )

5 Hubpages should come up in a list with it stating ' free ' to the right of it.

      6. Click on the Hubpages in the list

      7. Press the Install button and type in your Username and Password of your Apple ID account.

      8. The icon for Hubpages will then appear on the next available space on your phone.

p.s. If you do not have an Apple ID you will need to set this up through iTunes.
