Since past 2 days, I have witnessed a huge drop in the traffic. From around 500+ page views, it has been dropped to less than 150; more than 70% drop. Is someone else also experiencing something similar?
Are there any algorithm updates by Google...

I just wrote an article about this at another site. Google implemented Pandora 2.5 last Wednesday, and HubPages came out a winner.

But there is no news about another Panda change yet.

      These changes are wreaking havoc!

go to searchmetrics.com    They have a free version that you can use to check hubpages for any changes.  Searchmetrics is monitoring Google like crazy because of the disastrous mess that the Panda sequence is causing.

I checked, and overall, Hub Pages has a nice rise in views between Oct 2 and today.

It seems hubpages is doing good; it is probably my hubs that are performing worse on HubPages. sad

I don't get many traffic to my Hub Pages.  I would be very pleased if I get 150 a day.  I guess one needs to keep writing to get more traffic.

this drop in traffic is due to closure of offices for holidays on Dushahra  & Durga Puja festival. In India, people take rest on holidays and enjoy with their families. You will often notice this drop in the traffic from google.co.in that can be found clicking traffic sources. Don't worry, it will improve by tuesday.

Hope, it will recover soon but for now, traffic is down by almost 80%.

Some of us have experienced this for over 2 months.  Don't bother trying to figure it out, Google is the culprit.  smile

Well, as my hubs can go days without any views, I would be overjoyed with 150.  It really is a lot for a couple of days.

My traffic flatlined 10 days ago, and was pronounced official dead yesterday.  It going to take more than the arrival of Santa to fix it...

My traffic dropped over a month ago (after going sky high for a couple of weeks). I get now in a month what I used to get in a day - If I'm lucky. Too depressing to log in any more :-(  I just check every now and again to see if there is any normality returning. Otherwise, it just doesn't seem worthwhile, and certainly not rewarding either in $$$$ or feel good.
