Ron Paul is now in third place amongst polls throughout the US
http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sour … mp;cad=rja
Yet, he has only been given, total, in all three debates, 18 minutes and 47 seconds to speak.
Out of 6 hours of air time, Ron Paul has been given the LEAST amount of time to speak in debates, yet is third in the Republican Party presidential campaign.
Not only is he electable, but he's electable while being ignored.
Ron Paul 2012 - donate to him on "Black THIS out" October 19th.
It is a real tragedy that the press both liberal and conservative all but ignore this man. He is the answer to out of control government. Maybe we can surprise the rebublican guard and nominate him to spite them. He has over 100,000 donors and raised over 8 million in the third quarter. How does that stack up to the 1 billion Obama is expecting?
Honestly, Ron Paul might have had more luck winning as a DEMOCRAT; rather than running as a Republican where he has no hope of getting that silly Evangelical vote. A lot of democrats feel betrayed by Obama.
Paul is the ONLY Candidate that is for Abolishing the Federal Reserve. And the Bankers own the Media.
Romney is Pro Banker... even played cheerleader for the Bailout.
Cain is a Former Federal Reserve Chairman in Kansas City.
Perry is a Bilderberg Invitee.
Hmmmm I wonder why Ron Paul can't get any coverage?
You think the Bankers want to put an end to their Ruling Dynasty where they make all the money and have to do absolutely nothing?
There is your answer.
America is the land of the Debt Slave and your masters will tell you what they want you to hear.
Ron Paul is honest. They will never allow an honest man to be president.
He has a huge fan base of young people....anything can happen in this volatile atmosphere!
and volatile is a GOOD thing. It has been complacent for far too long!
Here here! That's exactly it... a base of young people likely most still in college. The protesters we see on Wallstreet are the college grads who have learned first-hand what libertarian philosophy and practice ultimately produces. In other words, my bet is that Ron Paul's "force of the young" will soon flip towards the Left when they actually get their feet wet in the business world.
HA! Not likely, bud.
Ron Paul's supporters know that minimum wage laws, mandatory unions, and government monopolies shrink their standard of living.
They won't switch to liberal, they'll probably all switch to the Libertarian Party and finally get them the 3% they need for federal funding.
Um, the Libertarians are trying to get "stolen money" to finance their campaigns?
it's vote that count, not money...tell everyone you know about him. He plans to cut the presidents income to 39,000 dollars a year...see his new budget plan
I think it should be as you state it that money doesn't count but the cold reality is that the more money you have for a presidential election the more you are assured victory. History bares this out.
Remember to register Republican before the primaries.
The trouble with him is he's a corporatist....
Keep the Bush tax cuts for the Uber rich, give breaks for business to "repatriate"..they already GOT breaks to sell us out!
Coddles business, give-aways to rich people who don't need it. Cutting programs for people who do.
NO THANKS> Been there, done that!
These kids would cringe if they saw his real agenda.
Go to "paul would cut 1 trillion" thread...kerry put a link to his plan.
Tax Cuts for the Rich is the PC Slogan for the Ignorant.
Here are the FACTS. The "Rich" pay nearly all the taxes now. They also pay more in sales and property tax. They also do almost all the donations to Charity.
Here are the facts (don't believe me? These come DIRECTLY from the Internal Revenue Service):
1) The top 1% of income earners earn about 20% of all income but paid 38% of ALL Federal taxes
2) The top 1% paid more in Federal Income tax than the bottom 95%!!!
3) The top 5% of income earners earned 34.7% of the nation's adjusted gross income but paid about 58.7% of ALL Federal Income tax.
4) The top 50% of income earners paid over 97% of ALL Federal Income tax.
5) Okay, I will do the math for you: That means the BOTTOM 50% only paid about 3% of ALL Federal Income tax.
What about effective tax rates (i.e. with all "write-offs" what is the actual percent of income paid in taxes)
1) Top 1% of income earners paid an average effective tax rate of 23.27%
2) Top 5% of income earners paid an average effective tax rate of 20.70%
3) Top 10% of income earners paid an average effective tax rate of 18.71%
4) Top 50% of income earners paid an average effective tax rate of 13.65%
5) BOTTOM 50% of income earners paid an average effective tax rate of 2.59%
Anyone still want to argue how the "Rich" are getting all the Tax Breaks?
You have information that comes from a source other than the Internal Revenue Service to back it up?
Yeah...any income chart from 2000-2008.
You'll see where all the income went. And it weren't by accident!
People always say rich pay all the taxes...it's because THEY HAVE ALL THE MONEY!
Income is taxed starting at $45,000.....pretty sad when so many people are below that....and so many people begrudge them!
Poor people pay FICA, sales tax property tax too--if they are fortunate enought to own property.
Poor people also pay fees, fines and charges for not having enough money to meet bills. In actuality...REAL-numbers, I pay more to my bank than a multi-millionaire. Pay more for my phone and electricity than a robber-baron. Know why? Because I am late...a lot. That means late fees. Extra charges laid on poor peoples backs.
Know the truth about banks? They make most of their money on fees, fines and those stupid foreign transactions charges.
Same with credit cards....late fees,over-the-limit fees, etc. Wealthy people never have these problems. They get these services for less money than a pauper. Why? cause they have more money to begin with.
Rich people are coddled and catered to. Why you think everyone wants to be there?
Pulleeeeze....to try and say rich people in America are martyrs is the ignorance.
Romney's main donors are bankers and corporations
Ron Paul's are US services soldiers

Do you think there's still a chance that someone other than Romney or Gingrich will emerge and become the Republican nominee. Both Romney and Gingrich both have good, but not spectacular levels of support, and there is a sense that neither one of them quite fits the bill, in terms of what the party...

this guy is giving a perspective that needs to be heard Specifically, on all the metrics that a year ago everyone accepted as useful indicators of political standing, Ron Paul is not just a front-runner but a strong one.First, and most directly, he does extremely well in polls. The organization of...
