   I would like to know how much money I can earn based on:
   
   - number of hubs or articles I write
   
   - number of followers
   
   - number of likes
   
   - recommendation of certain products
   
   - other ways
   
   I am curious to know.
   
   I would like to hear from some experts or those who have been using Hubpages longer than six months.

   The number of hubs you have is not relevant to how much money you will earn. It depends on how many views you get on each hub, and the CPM. Of course writing more hubs increases your chances to earn more, assuming you write on the right topics and use keywords effectively, but other than that, you can not calculate how much you will make with X amount of hubs
   
   For example, lets say someone has 100 hubs, but only gets 100 views a day. They would not even make a dollar everyday.
   
   On the other hand, if someone has 100 hubs and gets 2000 views everyday and their CPM is 5 dollars for that month, they would earn about 10 dollars a day, which equals 300 dollars in one month.
   
   Also understand, it's hard to say exactly how much you will make each month because it depends on CPM (how much you earn each 1000 views) and how many views your hubs get. These can change.
   
   I have 231 published hubs and made several hundred $$$ this month, but not every hub makes me money.

      So David, do I make money just for someone going to my hubs or do they have to click on an ad for me to make anything?

         If you are using HP ads I believe the amount you make is based more on views than clicks, than it is just using Google Adsense by itself. You still need adsense to run HP ads though.

      You should also realize that subject is important. I had a hub last year that was getting 2000-3000 hits a day at its peak, but as it was a narrow niche and people essentially only wanted the information I got no clicks and didn't earn much from it - it probably would earn more today because of HP Ads, but the audience you are aiming at is still very important!

      I know this wasn't asked of me but mine is MUCH better than it has been, as well-- even though Adsense is not anything to get excited about. HP is doing better than I have ever seen for me, and my recently re-installed Amazon is perking up nicely.
      
      As for the Original Post-- yes, all of us are seeking the same answers,and we all have to discover what works for us,individually. It would be nice if they just listed 'the best'. wouldn't it?

   Well I am feeling a bit down at the moment, so apologies if I have nothing good to add.
   
   You can get lucky, and publish a hub that is immediately popular,
   
   You can publish hubs that gain, slowly but surely.
   
   Then again, you can work really hard and produce loads of hubs, some of which do well right away, and some which take some time to start to do well, then some asshole at Google can decide to slap you down.
   
   That is me, more or less.
   
   Been that way for two months, nearly three. It hurts.

      I'm probably doing something wrong,but Amazon has been my saving grace here on HP.
      
      I've never done well on Aasense, or HP ads for that matter.
      
      But I used to do a lot better than I am doing now. This sucks.

         I never made serious money with Amazon, but surprisingly made 16 dollars this month - I usually make nothing with it. Athough I never messed with Amazon too much.
         
         Now that I can use ebay, my attention is focused on it because it coincides wtih HP Ad Stats.

      I think I have like 30-50 dollars from Amazon, but never filled out the info to get paid.
      
      What months do Amazon pay? I know it's every 3 months or something like that.

    I'm tempted to write a hub right now, entitled "what to do when someone collapses and can't breathe".
    
    Point being that people have become so used to the internet that they have forgotten common sense.
    
    It is sad to think of, but probably true, that if someone were to drop down dead in front of someone else, that someone might feel the need to type this particular phrase in.
    
    Instead of offering immediate support or halp.

       I think it's a very good idea to know how to save a person before he collapses and dying. If you do not have that knowledge and you can actually learn that on Internet beforehand, it might save somebody's life. Write that hub! One can always question validity of information on Internet, its reliability but... I found my second job on line. I found my new apartment on line. I found that my distant relative in Moscow is dying, online. I found  how to get rid of fibrillation attacks I suffered from - on line.
       So many people have full time earnings - on line.
