Okay...I have been rummaging through ALL the forums in Google to decipher whether or not authorizing sites on adsense is relevant or not. Some reply in when doing this they saw their rev. bottom out to all zero's, while others say it is a must to verify.
Does anyone know the answer or where to find it. Have you seen the message you have unauthorized sites warning too?
If you do not authorize specific sites, then someone could use your AdSense code on a different site for nefarious purposes. Thus, authorizing only the sites where you want to run AdSense is one thing that you can do to help protect your account.
This is good to know. Thank you for bringing it up.
But how do we authorise adsense on our sites? Where do we go to do this?
And will this apply to our HP domains asides our own websites and blogs?
You need to log-in to your AdSense account. Under Account Settings, there is an area called "Access and authorization." By default, any site is allowed. To change this, click edit, and then authorize your HubPages accounts plus any other domains.
Ok bear with my question
do I just add hubpages.com and blogger.com
Or specify jenubouka.hubpages etc, and the address of the blogs?
I am guessing I should authorize the main domain page.
HubPages supports URL trackers, so if you only specified your subdomain, you could not get credit for anyone running your code under that scheme. So, the main domain page would seem to work. Also, HubPages does not support HTML, and the only way to run the ads is through your control panel (affiliate ID) and your URL trackers. Therefore it is difficult to see how anyone could run your code without authorization on their HubPages sites.
For Blogger, the ads also go through the control panel, but HTML is allowed. If you are uncomfortable with the (remote) possibility of other Blogger users running your ads, maybe you should research Google's support forum.
Thanks so much WE.
Sorted out now. I added my other websites, etc..
But how do we disallow the sites that are not on my list of allowed sites?
There are about four of them, including Snipsly which i find strange since i cant seem to even write there anymore.
And there doesn't seem to be a disallow button.
Artsofthetimes, you are welcome. All I know is that only allowed sites will be able to run your code. There is no need to disallow anyone. AdSense does suggest certain sites that you could consider allowing, but that does not change anything unless you actually allow them.

Hopefully someone from Hubpages HQ can look into this.I believe that those of us that are using a hosted account with Adsense are not getting any ad revenue on impressions from the niche sites.I base this on the fact that my daily impressions on Hubpages vs Adsense differ by a factor of about 100....

A sense shows pairedlife and turbofuture in my sites section and suggest I verify those sites so I clicked verify all sites. Should I have done this or do I need to unverify them. I'm confused as it says sites you own but another part talks about sites you authorize your code to be on

I just received an email from Google AdSense that I never expected to receive:"In the last 24 hours: New violations were detected. As a result, ad serving has been restricted or disabled on pages where these violations of the AdSense Program Policies were found."Panic! What made it much...
