Help me pick an artistic name!

   Hey everyone! I would like you to post some ideas for my artistic name. I will describe myself and what I want and you tell me what you have come up with. First of all I am a graphic designer, I am 18 and very creative and kooky. I want this name to be short, creative, kooky as well, and design or art related. You can use other languages but only spanish, english and french, that are the ones I speak.
   The only semi-idea I have though of is something with the word pixel, but I would like to hear other ideas. So please help me!

      Honestly, this is the second time you've looked for someone to help you with a name. I've never known an artist who doesn't know themselves well enough to pick their own names.

         I posted the same question twice, once as a proper question and the same as a forum just because sometimes my questions get deleted here in hubpages. I do know myself more than enough and that's why I described myself so you could come up with ideas. Of course I'm not going to take the names anyone gives me; it's just for inspiration which is what artist do. I chose my artistic name on my own with ideas I already had; I just wanted to know what everyone thought. So If you finished judging, thank you for your post and don't bother to reply.

"Help me with my first hub!" "Please check out my hubs!"                I know hubpages is packed with people who don't even know how to write, or ask silly questions. I'm young but I'm no child, I love writing and I love art; but it's good for an artist to search for inspiration, to ask others opinions, to share; etc. I by no means intended to sound like "I'm just wasting your time" but what I meant by saying that I wasn't going to use anyone else's ideas was because I wouldn't feel good about it. I wanted to name myself and everyone here in the forum could help me boost my inspiration and ideas I had hidden in my head to come up with a name on my own. You seem smart enough to understand where I'm coming from and I hope in the future you might want to check some of my work.

I thought about deleting my former comment and decided I needed to be up for public accountability. Anyway, I apologize sincerely with the weak excuse of having a rare frustrating day that day. You're a beautiful and no doubt talented person and deserve all your heart's desires. I wish you prosperity in your prolific talent.
                  
                  P.S. I'm an artist, writer, designer, former dancer, singer, with a bit of film acting under my belt. Just a sidebar about the don't ask a writer bit. But I do get it.

                     Never ask an artist either. That is what my favorite teacher at Ringling said, "Never ask another artist to critique your work." I never asked him, but he critiqued mine plenty!

      What's the end purpose of the name?
      
      If you're seeking to gain credibility online, nicknames of any kind aren't the best choice.  People like to deal with real people. 
      
      I know many people who started out their internet journey using a nickname and then wished they'd used a proper name.   It doesn't have to be your name, it just has to sound like it could be a real person, with a first name and a surname.

         I agree with Marisa. You need something that sounds professional and represents your work. Once you start with a name you should stick with it.

            I think you're right, the main reason why I was trying to come up with an artistic name is because both my name and surname are as common as they can be, and don't match at all with my style and personality. The name I came up with is Pixie Kadavra and I'm happy with it.

       For several years I have not been able to invent a stage name for myself. I am an aspiring writer and therefore a pseudonym is very important to me! I can only advise you to play around with Latin or German words.

      Wing shadow.     You can use it as one or two words.  You could have someone design a logo using this.  The name just came to me.  Makesure no one else has it.  If not, and you like it - go for it.

   It might help if you can select something that conveys what you can do.   
   
   Remember to check what comes up on a search engine before selecting a name to   use and check it for already being used by others too.

     Power Pixel - but I am thinking a pixel is only a small part of a picture

      Good advice that it might help if the title selected conveys what Smart is Good does, 2uesday, especially if Smart is Good gets a website to advertise her services - having a site found in natural search results can save one a lot of money in advertising costs - and people looking for a designer don't look for cute sounding names when they look for a designer on the Internet - one idea could be to name a domain/website with a search engine friendly name, and follow it on the site only (not in the domain's wording) with "by thecutesoundingnameyouchoose" eg a domain graphic-designer-peru.com and then on the site Graphic Designer Peru by PixelPixie (or whatever other nickname)

    Are you looking for name ideas for a business? If so, I like Princesswithapen's idea, SIG DESIGN. A lot could be done to create a logo for that.
    
    If not and this is for your artwork, use your own name and let your art and style speak for itself. Let people associate both with you and your name.
    
    JMHO for what it's worth.

I'm starting a facebook virtual portfolio; so far I only got some of the pictures I've taken but it would be cool for you to check them out and let me know what you think.           I knew I wanted to have something related to the word "pixel" because it is very linked to graphic design; but to add a more girly touch I though of Pixie and then after weeks of brainstorming I found that the word Kadavra was very mysterious, a bit kooky and I though It suited me better than my other options. Beside I think that both pixie and Kadavra sound good together and I can relate to it. Thank you for checking out my work. I'll be posting more stuff soon. XO

    These days, people use fake names too much. Artists should go by their own name, unless they are wanted by the law. Your studio or gallery name can be fictitious. Then you can represent others work as well as your own.
    
    How about Pixel Perfect? Maybe Pure Pixel Perfection?

    If you want to be regarded as girly, then a girly theme will work for a limited audience and for a time in your life.
    
    But down the road, you might want a more serious and mature moniker that will last for a long time while telling your audience that you also mean business.
    
    
    Pixels relate to the resolution, clarity and quality of images. There are words that could tie together the concept of pixels and femininity without appearing to be overly lighthearted or youthful.

    The name you choose should be oriented to the client not you... speak their language from their perspective and point of view. The name should reflect the benefits that you bring to the table.

    I would assume since the 7 years this original post was written that you have found the right name, but maybe someone else has jumped on the bandwagon.
    
    I would pick something that hasn't already been taken on social media - across all the different sources you plan to use. Like I wish I had known of this tip, because after much thought, I found the name flirty knitter to be free across blogger, twitter, ravelry, pinterest, etc. but I have since thought - duh! I am married and not flirty, and although my husband chose the name, it just doesn't fit well, and I've had to change the name several times anyway, so I would go thru each and every social media you will do and all the blogs and websites you will know and aim for consistency above all else!

    I am a person who can not imagine my life without traveling! I inherited from my grandmother an old house with a fireplace in the hallway. And above it - an empty wall. My husband and I have been looking for something so special for the interior to adhere to the grandmother's style. We came across a very creative and interesting site, Texelprintstore.com. My husband ordered a watercolor world map canvas. The quality is amazing! In addition, the canvas successfully joined the surrounding interior and even fit on the wall, above the fireplace! This store is just a storehouse for inspiration.
