Can you please review my hubs and see what you think. I love to write, my biggest problem is writing about something that nobody else has and sharing my views on things that I am passionate about. I want to increase my traffic and see what people actually think about them. Can you all help please?
I just looked at your Facebook hub. It's pretty plain looking without some kind of image to illustrate it. Also, all plain text. Try breaking it up with subheaders or create a list or a quiz... something to keep your post from being all text only.
I merely opened the hub about Facebook, and was almost blown - not away but - off the page. Please remove the underline from your text. Also, I advise not to use all-uppercase to nearly that extent, since that is considered a form of "shouting" on the Internet.
You may post links to individual hubs on this forum.
I am confused as to what you are speaking of with the Caps.
All-caps are "LIKE THIS." It is commonly understood that you should only use them in titles and headlines, plus where you really want to make a strong point, like: "This is NOT a drill!"
I did not realize that I had done that at the end of the Hub thank you for that. Also I did not realize that it was underlined I must have hit that button on my keyboard accidentally. Thank you for that.
The writing seems fine but I thought you were YELLING at me.
Your Hubs are really short, and if you want to avoid being penalised by HP, (as well as building credibility with Google), you need to make them at least 300 - 500 word plus. Right now I am surprised you are not seeing a flag on the top of these hubs saying they might be substandard, not because they are bad, but because they are short and in a couple of cases strictly personal, (much like a blog). It is nice to see you are seeking advice though, so good luck to you for being open to constructive criticism.
I read a few of your hubs and most seem to read like blogs. HP likes more informative types of hubs. I noticed 2 issues with your army basic training hub. One is a glaring typo - soldier is misspelled as sodlier. Sorry, but typos always seem to catch my eye and they bug me. My impression of the writer goes down just a smidgen when I see one. Also, it looks like there is a bunch of html code at the end.
It was mentioned that you should have subheads to break up the text and I see that you did that with the army hub - so that's good. The one section, though is really long so you might want to at least break it up into 2-3 paragraphs or use bullet points instead of numbers to add a graphic element. Or if you do keep the numbers, put them on each of it's own lines so there is a break.
Another idea is to divide this hub into 2 hubs and link the two together.
A few more pics would be nice. Do you have one of yourself you can upload? HP likes it when people take their own photos.
Just some thoughts.

Dear HubTeam:I know there have been a few forum threads about this topic, but hear me out please. By the way, this thread refers to the rating down of hubs, not flagging. I have no problem with the flagging feature and see it as a necessary evil. Even if someone misuses it, they have to go through...

Is there any way of "refreshing" a hub so that people can have a look and say, "Wow! This is new and exciting"? or at least, "Wow! How did i miss this excellent writing?"?I feel so sorry for my little hub; alone and ignored and neglected with no one reading...

I have written all my hubs with my font size set to 22 and wonder now that with a more normal size they will not have the neat appearance that I designed into them. Can I get a few opinions on the appearance of this hub, along with the font size you are using on your browser? I realize that...

What would you say about a Hubber who has a modest number of hubs;has a rather high number of followers;is a Level 8 commenter;tries to post a link to their own Hub in a comment;has an AuthorScore of 1? (Yep, that's a "One.")The comment is very good - other than the link that is in...

I have had a few poems receive non-featured status. I've been able to revive them by adding a couple of text paragraphs to expound on the topic of the poem while maintaining the integrity of the poem. It lengthens the hub, extending its survival, and therefore, making it more searchable. I've also...

Hi, yes, I'm a newbie. I read a lot about hubpages before joining, and I have just written my first two hubs and would like some suggestions for these, and for writing hubs in general. I would especially appreciate help on layout--usually I do okay in layout for print and normal web pages, but this...
