Will i get banned after writing this? Is this allowed?

   I want to write the following:
   
   1) Someone scammed me, I know who she is and the details. I want to make a hub of her, to warning other people. I could also give tips on how not to be scammed in Paypal.
   
   2) Top 5 lists hubs. For example.. an 800 article about the top 5 deal websites i love visiting. Or Top 5 websites you can earn through adsense like in Hubpages. Is it allowed to put lots of live links in a hub? how many is the maximum allowed? How about just links only, not the live clickable ones?

      I agree with Hollie about the Paypal scammer thingie. Write a general hub for that with hints and tips, perhaps including your own experience. It's not libellous if it's the truth, but you know what is the point of naming someone online when they are probably using a fake name anyway. (Libel is written, slander is vocal, is that right?) But the story of how she did it and how you resolved it, is important to help protect others.
      
      As for top 5 lists or whatever, sounds OK to me, so log as you do not link to the same domain more than twice.

         IzzyM, yeah, i wont. Lets say its a hub about My Top 5 Favorite Social Media Site, i could put facebook, twitter, myspace, tumblr and hubpages. I just want to be sure if ill be or not be in trouble if ill do it.
         
         A general hub sounds a good idea. Safer and helpful. I can just write everything in a safe approach. Thank you very much IzzyM

   FACT: If you DEFAME anyone knowingly.. you will not only potentially get banned, but also successfully Sued - if that party that you defamed petitions your details and IP address etc.
   
   READ the TOS Here and you will not have to ASK nOOb questions (as you put it).
   The TOS here is relatively easy to understand!  Did you not indicate that you understood it when you clicked JOIN 13 months ago?

      Thanks for the sarcasm dude. I dont want to get in trouble thats why i want to ask first. And yes, I did joined here 13 mos ago but i just got active a week ago. Im not part of the small population of peeps reading TOS by heart when signing up. Really you are so friendly. I thought its okay to ask because the it says:

      She knows im campaigning about her scamming activities since i am a facebook page owner of an active online shopping community. She blocked us all so we could not interfere to her scamming activities.
      
      I bought cellphone load through a Paypal payment. After we chatted up in Skype, i paid, and she never messaged back. So what i did is i made a dispute in Paypal. The scammer responded giving Paypal fake tracking number of the "package." I never bought an item, just a cellphone load that can be sent virtually. Thank God, i won in the dispute. It costs almost $200. Found out who she is in Facebook -- She is also my poser, who used my name to scam other people in Facebook. Thank God the members found out and reported her. Her family is aware of her bad activities and is deeply sorry about it.

         Maybe you could write more of a general hub, giving examples of how people can get scammed in such situations (without naming) and ways to avoid this happening. Just a thought.

            Thanks Hollie. I might do that. I asked this in Answers section too. I can instead give tips on what to do when you encounter Paypal scammers and how to determine the legitimate sellers from scammers.

      I forget which TOS (HP, Google, Amazon - or what), but lying isn't the only issue.  At least one of them mentions not "publicly embarrassing" someone, if I recall correctly.

   If you're going to blow the whistle on someone, naming names, knowing what is going on and reporting it isn't enough.
   
   You must be willing and able to prove it in a court of law.  Simply saying "She scammed by doing this" isn't enough - you must have hard evidence all the way down the line.
   
   As PearlDiver says, you can be sued successfully unless you can prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, that what you are saying is true.  You also open yourself up to additional, illegal, reprisals.  Would you like to be click bombed and lose your adsense account?  Or suddenly see 50 new sites come into existence defaming you?  Such things do happen...

      I know its a sensitive issue. But ive tried posting this in the other sites. Some victims already did the same, we even have the blessing of the scammer's family. I want to give a warning not to increase traffic. Some peeps says maybe Hubpages is not the proper place to be and i think they have a point. While the others have published a similar hubs -- tackling their nigerian scammers, etc. Thanks for the good input though! I appreciate it. It got me thinking.

   If ti is a company and you stick to the facts it is fairly safe.  If it is a private individual, probably not worth the risk.

   It surprises me how little so many writers know about libel, defamation, etc.
   
   Usually, to get in trouble for these activities, the person has to prove that a) you are lying and b) that you knew you were lying, and intended to inflict damage.
   
   Everyone calm down. I doubt the OP is going to be sued by a scammer who he/she called out online.
   
   I do agree that HP is probably not the place to do it. Just use it for writing articles, not retribution.

      To add, many states have different definitions for defamation, and some countries too. But generally, the truth is almost always a defense.

         As for my case, the scammer is aware of what she did. I have the go signal from her family to go after her since she is not living with her family anymore and never saw her since she left.
