Can anyone tell me how to put pictures, amazon capsules and videos within the body of my article?

I'm well aware of the capsules and the different purposes they serve but I can't seem to put pictures, amazon capsules, video or anything else anywhere but the top and bottom of the article body.

When I try to float left or right, everything still goes to the very top or very bottom.

It's VERY frustrating. Can anyone help please?

    Thank you,

    Rahim

Break up your text into multiple Text Capsules. You can then put pictures to the right of each one of them.

Yes, that is the way to do it. Break up your hub into a few text capsules, then align the appropriate picture or video to the text .
One huge block of text not only creates problems in alignment but is also harsh on the eye.. so divide the text and use a mix of pictures and adds to create a hub that is pleasing to the eye .
Welcome to Hubpages and best wishes to you smile

I know I'm seven weeks past your replies, but thank you for the advice. I think I'm ready to tackle this now.

You can also check out the Learning Center to get a better feel for your way around HP.

Quick tip - once you have a hub with the format you like with tons of photos in between text - you can copy that format on your next hub. For my home improvements which is heavy with photo and text capsules, it is much easier to start with a template rather than to have to add each capsule.
HP has everything down pat and really has simplified it for us.
    Enjoy!

I did not know the format or arrangement/organization of one hub can be copied into an new hub. I'll go look around and see how to do that.

Ms Dee all you have to do is when you start a new hub you have four formats to choose from in the section titled 'choosing a layout'.. You need to opt for the last one which says 'choose existing layout' and from the drop down menu choose the hub with the format  you like, saves you a lot of adding new capsules.. and organizing them.
