I am doing my Hub settings. I tried to set up the Google Adsense, and the screen goes nowhere. I first said "No" when asked if I had an Adsense account already. The screen went nowhere. So, since I had about half done some of this stuff several months ago, then was ill and stopped working on it, I thought maybe I HAD set up an Adsense account, but hadn't used it. So I tried again, and said "Yes". Still it went nowhere. Anyway, I went to Google and set up an Adsense account, then went back to the Hubpages settings again, and said "Yes", and, again tried to finish the settings. The screen is still sitting there, smirking at me with that high-tech, non-human smirk. Does anyone have a solution to this? That is, other than me kneeling before the feet of the Google Bot and asking forgiveness?

The part that I don't understand is whether you have been accepted to Google Adsense.  You wrote that you "set up an Adsense account" - what exactly did you mean by that?  Are you saying that you applied to Google Adsense and have been accepted? - Sorry, but it wasn't clear to me what you meant there.

Adsense messaged that I had completed setup in Google Adsense, but that it would be a week before review?  I think that means I'm in limbo? or web pergatory.

Thank you, everyone!  I've not only solved my Google Adsense problem, but I installed Firefox, and like it very much.
For others who may have this problem, I missed an email that went to my junk folder.

What browser are you using? IE often causes problems.

Also, make sure you don't sign up for multiple Adsense accounts - it can get you banned. You are only allowed one per physical address.

I'm using IE7. I just realized that I do have blocking on. Would that make a difference? It hasn't seemed to bother anything else I've done in Hub settings.  Thank you for your help.

It may or may not be the blocking. It's most likely do to incompatibilities between IE and whatever website is causing the issue (HP vs AdSense.) I do know that IE has a lot of problems and that some programmers won't even support it.

If you have Firefox or Chrome installed that may help. They're free if you don't.
