   What happens if you click your own ad by mistake. Do you get thrown off Google right away?

      Many of us have done this exact same thing. Try not to do it again and all should be okay.

      Not likely.
      
      I have done it once on my iPad accidentally because a click with your finger is a lot easier to do than one with your mouse. 
      
      Over all these years, I've accidentally done it a few times with a mouse when I hastily forgot I was on one of my own sites or when I was trying to cycle through closing  too many open windows too quickly.
      
      But when I say a "few times", I mean maybe 2 or 3 times in eight years of running Adsense and making them and me a fair pile of money from real clicks. 
      
      The very first time I did it, I wrote to Adsense, apologizing.  They sent back a rude response, but didn't ban me.
      
      I suggested to them that they ought to have a way where we could report accidents like that.  They sent back a rude response to that too :-)

                  They are definitely the most arrogant.   Microsoft may want money, but they are always nice about it.  Google can be nasty.
                  
                  Apple is very good, especially in the stores.  But they can be arrogant too.

            I don't think there's a "worst".  Those you mentioned, the phone companies, banks, government agencies, insurance companies, dentist's offices, Internet providers, and you name it...     Most of them are "prize-winners" as far as I'm concerned.   (Customer service is SO 1970's. )

   At times, it can't help it but do not try doing it. Simply because, you might get banned by Google and you will have a hard time later getting back.
   
   Better be safe than sorry right?
