As I did some housekeeping this weekend, I found myself Googling around for good cleaning guides and was surprised by the dearth of helpful articles out there. Because cleaning guides are a home-related topic, they typically get good ad revenues. What's more, we all have to clean, so everyone has at least a few time-saving tips to share.  Why not cash in on those tips? Join the Weekly Topic Inspiration crew this week by sharing some of your best cleaning guides and advice!

Here are some commonly-searched keywords to give you inspiration: how to clean your house, how to clean a bathroom, housekeeping tips, home carpet cleaning, oven cleaner, how to clean glass top stove, cleaning glass top stoves, how to clean a dishwasher, dishwasher rince aid, dishwasher detergent, cleaning out my closet, clean house, spring cleaning, stain removal, cleaning tips, house cleaning tips, spring cleaning checklist, spring clean, how to remove stains, cleaning tips for the home, household tips and tricks, spring cleaning, carpet cleaner, duct cleaning, how to clean leather, carpet cleaning services, home cleaning services, housekeeping services, carpet stain removal, professional cleaning services...

Basically, there are a TON of people searching for cleaning advice. 'Nuff said.

If you'd like to join in on this week's topic by writing a Hub, follow these steps:

    1)    Click here to visit this week's topic.
    2)    Click the green button "answer this question".
    3)    Click the gray button below the box (leave that empty) that says "make a Hub about it."
    4)    Give your Hub a very specific title, like Easy Summer Gardening Projects for Kids or Challenging Summer Activities for Teens
    5)    Create good quality original content that hasn't been covered before.
    6)    After you publish your Weekly Topic Inspiration Hub, come back to this forum thread and post a link to your Hub with a brief description of what you wrote about and why.

For more information on the Weekly Topic Inspiration program, check out the Learning Center guide.'

I'm looking forward to reading your guides. I could really use some housekeeping advice!

My hub shows you how to get rid of stains from clothing, carpet and wooden furniture without using harmful chemicals.  A lot of the things in my hub can be found in your common cupboard.  This is such a great topic.  Enjoy!

Hey RedElf! I've introduced two new topics, but I've made them related (home improvement and getting organized) so they still might fit in with what you're thinking of writing about!

I've also made these two topics part of a two-week WTI stint, so we can all have plenty of time to join in on the fun.

    Hey y'all!!

First, I want to give a really big thanks to everyone who participated in this week's Weekly Topic Inspiration thread. I think this is the best one I've ever seen!!

Because we seem to have a bunch of really stellar DIY and cleaning experts with us, I've made the next WTI themes DIY Home Improvement Projects and De-Cluttering tips. Stop by the forum thread to join in on the fun!

I've also made these themes part of a two week WTI (that's why there are two instead of one) so that everyone has more time to write. I hope you'll weigh in!

In other news... I did a really thorough cleaning of my apartment this weekend, referring to many of your Hubs for help. My place is cleaner than it has been IN MONTHS! Thank you so much for your help!!

... also, does anyone have advice on getting that vinegar smell off one's skin? I didn't wear gloves.... =___=

I just happened to be completing a hub about cleaning when I happened across this forum. I hope I am not too late to join in the 'cleaning fun'. I have just written a hub on the topic of keeping a house clean on a day to day basis when you have kids.  As anyone with kids will know, it is not an easy feat. After years of struggling, I have come up with a method that WORKS!

    Here is the hub:
