    Help, please...

I've had a HP account for about a week and have posted one Hub so far:

    http://lhwritings.hubpages.com/hub/Ridi … -Travelers

I've signed with AdSense, giving my web URL as http://lhwritings.hubpages.com. However, AdSense keeps rejecting my application with the notice appended below. How can an entire Hub page not be considered adequate content? Can someone help me with this, or guide me as to what to do next?

    Thanks - LHwritings

    ================

Thank you for your interest in Google AdSense. Unfortunately, after
reviewing your application, we're unable to accept you into AdSense at
    this time.

We did not approve your application for the reasons listed below.

    Issues:
    -
    Insufficient content

    ---------------------

    Further detail:

Insufficient content: To be considered for AdSense, your site must contain
enough text content for our specialists to review and for our crawlers to
identify relevant ads to show on your pages. We recommend including more
complete sentences and paragraphs on your site. We require websites to be
fully launched and functioning, allowing users to navigate throughout your
site with a menu, sitemap, or appropriate links. Once the majority of your
site is complete and functional, we'll be happy to reconsider your
    application.

I believe that what they mean is you should have several hubs published for them to review.  I wasn't able to get approved until I had about eight or nine hubs.  Keep publishing and then try again.  I think you will find it will work then.

A single web page that's five days old is insufficient according to AdSense's definition of a website.

Remember, we all have our own subdomains here.  They are NOT looking at you as part of HubPages.com, they are looking at you as the sum total of whatever content is found at LHwritings.hubpages.com, and there's almost nothing there.

Thanks for the replies so far. The AdSense message was confusing (implying my page had incomplete sentences or something), so I was uncertain whether my single page really was insufficient or AdSense somehow wasn't locating the right thing.

I have more postings in the works, though it will take some time before they're all completed, vetted, and posted. No revenue in the meantime, I guess.

Anyway, thanks again for the clarification.

You should write more and more Hubs, and then apply again for the adsense account.

Work on getting the quality content up and don't stress about an account just yet. Unless you're experienced or extremely lucky it's unlikely you'll earn more than a few dollars in your first three months on the site.

i got that too--it wwas just confusing because hubpages made it seem like you should set up the adsense before you started writing-- but whatever...hubpages is awesome.

I'm relatively new to Hubpages too, and so far I've published four Hubs. I'm aiming to apply for Adsense after I've published about twelve or so.

Adsense approval has become stricter, it is better to have ten good hubs before you reapply. It does take time to earn money through adsense.. so don't worry..write at least ten hubs..may be start a blogger blog post regularly for the time it take to write ten hubs and then apply
