The Theory Of Angelic Flight

   It is in my opinion that it takes an average angel (I dont know about the high ranking ones like Gabriel or Michael) 3 days to make the flight from heaven to earth. How do I figure this? Here goes, in the book of the prophet Daniel Chapter 10,we find the prophet 10 fasting for 21 days to receive an answer from God concerning a vision he had seen earlier. Now,we find that he wouldn't have fasted that long because from the first day of his fast God sent an angel to deliver him an answer,but the angel en-route to Earth was withstood by a mighty demon called the Prince of Persia, the Prince ruling the then world. According to the angel,they fought for 21 days according to number of Daniel's fast. And it would have lasted longer if not that Michael came to rescue the angel. Now,the angel went on to Earth. And Daniel on the 24th Day saw the Angel standing before him. 24(day of arrival)-21(no of days of battle) = 3 days. Comments are fully welcome.

                  Done it. Tingly doesn't even come close to describing it. Can't wear any crystals other than diamonds because they break and shatter. Been to places I have never been to. Seen people I have never met. Learned things I never learned.

                        I am on a journey. And I have connected - and there is no supreme being called god with a set of rules.
                        
                        Probably the most striking thing I have seen was me as an Egyptian priest - very vivid - full details of a rite and part of the world I had never been to. I was told by an American Indian lady that I needed to connect with the priest I had been in a past life. I still wear an Ankh to this day. Does this mean I have to say I saw god and I know everything and I have all the answers and I have a set of rules you must adhere to?

   I see a flaw in your logic - you are assuming the angel did not tarry before delivering the message.
   
   I am sure that the pleasures of being corporeal would be somewhat of a distraction, and quite a few maidens at about that time in history were reportedly impregnated by angels.

      That's cute but angels don't have a physical body, no offspring from that activity, so a human banging an angel would have an orgasm and flatulence.

   To Jenny: delay or no delay,what counts is that the Angel arrived on the 24th day. His battle with the prince of persia lasted for 21 days. It took him 3 days to get to Daniel. And for those who keep talking about Angelic time dimension not applicable to man's time. Yes I totally agree. But the story is being told by Daniel, a man. So we assume if Daniel says 21 days, he pretty much means 21 days.

      There is no way to tell whether the angel spent those whole three days travelling, or spent one day travelling and the other two days impregnating maidens.

   Thanks for sharing your Egyptian priest story. That is  very interesting.
   I have a copy of the Egyptian Book of the Dead with translated hieroglyphics and it contains an enormous amount of details that  can't  be digested in a short time.

               Darn it, it is hard to disagree with you... It is too long.  The thing about tarot cards is don't ask if you don't want to know the answer.
               Do you do traditional card reading or the ask a question and quick pick three cards or do you Kabbalah?

                  Hard to answer. I learned from a half-American Indian lady in Florida and then learned on my own from looking at the images on the cards. I never ask what the question is - which is really interesting. They can tell me if they wish, but I find I give a better answer if I do not know them - or the question.
                  
                  I usually use the Celtic cross, but occasionally use other methods. So - non-traditional I guess.

                        It depends on the person - If I do not know them, and they want to ask a single question, I usually stick with the Celtic cross. If I know them or they want a more detailed reading I will use other methods - most of which I have made up myself as I went. I only use a Rider-Waite deck - an old deck given to me by the lady who taught me first.
