    Dear Friends,

I'm a new Hubber and I'd like to incorporate Google AdSense on my hubs. Google says that I should have sufficient content to become eligible for the AdSense account. Right now I have only published one Hub. What's the exact amount of content required by Google? Can anyone of you please tell me the number of Hubs that I need to create, so that I become eligible?

    I will appreciate your answers.

    Thanks,
    Farhan M

I only had one when I applied and I got accepted in less than 24 hours, but I was in America... outside countries such as India,  might require more quantity of content because they highly regard such countries as Click Farms and want to make sure an affiliate from there is serious in writing, good quality, advertisable articles.... so I've heard, anyway !   - in other words, I would guess at least five to show some intent-

      Dear Mel22,

Thanks for the important piece of information. I'm currently based in Saudi Arabia. And I think you're right, Google requires more content from countries outside America. I'm going to write at least 10 more hubs before applying for it. Let's see how it works out.

I'm really thankful to you for your help. Thanks!

Hi, I'm trying to sign up for adsense, I've applied but just realised I may have made a mistake. When you submit, do you put the url of one of your hubs, or the url of your profile? I have two hubs currently and put in the one that gets more traffic, but signed up for amazon as well and it appears that with them you just put your profile in, rather than the individual blog.
    Any clarification would be appreciated!
    Thanks.

Its the profile URL that you have to put it in. Not sure how you're going to fix though. May be any one else might help you on that.

Thanks for that. I have been approved apparently however I'm still having a problem. I have associated everything but when I log in to my adsense account, I can't see any pages where my adsense has been put in. I also can't see any evidence in google analytics. Through hubpages I am unable to see whether it has been activated either. How long does it take? I was approved about 4/5 hours ago. Does it take a while before it all gets associated?

Yes.  It takes a couple of days to update.  Give it two or three days and then contact Google AdSense help with your problem.

Ah right, thanks for that. I think the initial email from analytics was misleading then. It told me that ads would appear in a few hours, but my account was active straightaway so I thought I was going to be able to see them pop up through analytics etc.
Are you able to edit any adsense settings through hubpages once its all set up? I read somewhere about changing adsense to high, but could see no evidence of it on my hubs, which was what started this whole confusion.

Analytics takes a few days.  I am having trouble remembering how long AdSense takes.

You are able to edit the ad settings.  When you are editing a hub, there should be a box on the side that has "Reorder". Click on "Settings" and you can edit the frequency of ads there.
