Nearly every hub I have read including my own do not have Ads relevant to whatever hub. Why do we bother trying to get the right tags when they put irrelevant Ads in there anyway?

Ever think about switching up your words to see if anything changes?

Yes have tried that but it seems to be like that on other peoples hubs that I read too. In saying that some of them may have been created some time back before panda came about.

I just found out that my ads are improving and becoming more content based. Instead of photography ads on my tomato hubs am actually getting some gardening ads lately

Traffic from social networks and direct traffic i.e. non-organic traffic rarely sees relevant ads. That is why they have extremely low CTR. Try using Google search to go to any article and you should see relevant ads according to the keywords used in Google search.

Huge improvement in relevancy. 50/50 is better than no relevancy at all. Thanks for the tip!

I had the same problem on one of my post on blogger tonight.  All the rest of my post had relevant ads but not my last post.  I tried everything even add extra keywords not one ad showed up matching my topic.

It's often based on country or previous search history.

If you've been looking at adverts for soap and visit your gardening hub, you'll likely still see adverts for soap...

And if you're in the US, you'll see different adverts than display in the UK.

This. It's often based on the user's previous activity.

As QuestionMaster noted, what YOU see may not be what others see.

Just trust the software.  It usually will adjust itself.  Remember, it learns too: as an example, I wrote an article many years back on string theory.  For the first few weeks, it carried ads for guitars!  Apparently that didn't work out well, so those went away..

It now has ads for "College physics solutions" and similar things.  I suspect those work a bit better :-)
