    http://xenonlit.hubpages.com/hub/Some-F … y-Incident

This article is about the pepper spray incident at UC Davis, California. It describes how pepper sprays come in various concentrations and why the pepper spray concentration was improperly applied in the faces of the protesters.

In fact, the article begins with "This article is not about weapons sales, nor does it encourage the use of concentrated pepper spray at all. The problem is more one of increasingly weapon laden law enforcement and civilians who are more inclined to use harmful weapons simply because they have them."

I don't know who or what concluded that the article was about "weapons sales", but I need to know if the article has been unpublished. There is nothing to change since the article is informative and is not a sales article.

"It appears this Hub might promote the sale of weapons or ammunition (including firearms, firearm components, fighting knives, stun guns), which violates our Terms of Use. Please note that Hubs that don't comply with our rules can be unpublished. This is an automated warning; if you've received this warning in error, please disregard it. Keep writing great Hubs!"

I can't do much with words like "might" and "appears" and would like this to go away.

If you use the name of weapons, drugs, alcohol, gambling etc it triggers the warning.  Manual checking should clear it....

You ask Hubpages to look at it. I believe there is usually a link with a warning that tells you how to contact them. If not it's team@hubpages.com

The black triangle just means there is a broken link in the hub, nothing to do with a hub being unpublished.

Nope. The actual message is in my original post up top. It's something about weapons sales.

I love the broken links notice and wish that my other sites had that.

Thanks for the team hubpages address.

Here was the confusion: there were two things: the claim that the hub might be about weapon sales PLUS a broken link! I fixed the link and the warning triangle is gone, but the article is still about the opposite of encouraging weapon sales.

Not to worry. I have plenty of anti-scam hubs that got automatic warnings "This is about MLM" when it's not. smile

Sounds like you got it sorted out, Xenonlit.
Isn't the HP community fabulously helpful?

As your post said, it was an "automatic warning", meaning not the human kind.  The words "weapons sales" triggered it.  A human can review and take into account "not" about weapons sales, and clear the hub.

I agree that the community is fabulously helpful and very quick with the help!
