When I created a new page and kept unpublished, after two hours I noticed there were 2 page views, out of which 1 each from hub pages and facebook...

How the Facebook traffic will be available for unpublished hub?

perhaps you yourself were on Facebook and then you went to see/edit the unpublished hub - this is the only thing I could think of.

      interesting

Obviously it is not entirely impossible since you see traffic from Facebook. You also stated the hub was unpublished.

I am going to assume your hub was NEVER published and you had NEVER created a link - correct?

FYI - I'm running a little test of my own with one of my unpublished hubs - I'll get back to you in a while smile

Did you post a link of the unpbulished hub on facebook?
IF yes you may have clicked it when you were logged into HP - that's the reason

We're you using Facebook before getting on hp? Maybe you clicked a link from fb to hp and then onto your hub, thus 'continuinh' your visit from HP?

I know sometimes Google Analytics used to show me searches for keywords on other peoples hubs if their visit on that hub eventually led them to one of my hubs.

    officially stumped.

The only thing I can think of is your are referring to the traffic views from your account page and not the stats views from the hub. If you are referring to the traffic views from your account page then it could have been to any of your hubs.

Did you tell anyone on Facebook what your new hub was going it be about, or its title?

They may have then typed in the exact url and would have seen a 'no longer published' message.

I keep an eye on Analytics real time, and saw that someone today reached my hub by typing the exact url in, plus a few other words, but it still got there!
